Early one Sunday morning in the summer of 2018, Gary Sanders drove to the donut shop in downtown Royse City to purchase donuts for his grandchildren on his way to their house. After Gary bought the donuts, he walked out of the store and looked across the street at the empty building on the corner of Main and Elm. The old, empty convenience store had a ‘for sale’ sign on it. As Gary was holding the box of donuts, he began thinking to himself ‘What can I do with that location that will benefit the citizens of Royse City. A location where families and friends can gather for great food, beverages, and entertainment. A location that is a social gathering spot for Royse City?’

Went from 5 stars to now 8-11-2023 to charging for a Friday night where we are asked to pay to be outside and inside has no football games and we are waiting forever for food to arrive meanwhile someone’s food is sitting in bar where waitress left it for over 10 min.

I was really excited to try this place. The atmosphere is great, it looks really fun. Unfortunately the atmosphere was the only good thing other than the cheese curds. Our burgers tasted frozen. So dry, served with no sauce and just a dry bun. Honestly fast food burgers taste better than that. The “side” of Mac and cheese was in the tiniest little styrofoam container. All for $13. Overall, I was really disappointed with this place.

So let me start by saying I’ve been here a couple times and loved it. But this was before they closed for like 6 months due to “revamping” the menu. It’s sad because I was so excited to hear about their reopening and eager to try their new menu. I take a look at their menu and there’s barely anything on it anymore! And sadly, it was terrible…like I haven’t had this bad of food in a really long time. I ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer and they were fried but soggy and flavorless; almost as if they were frozen or over boiled before frying. Next was the burger….now before this revamp everything was made in house and fresh and unique; this burger was basically a Costco frozen patty that I paid 12 bucks for. Again flavorless and extremely over cooked and dry. My husbands 2 pint beer came out and it was warm and in a plastic mug; enough said there. But the last thing was this disgusting display of uncleanliness and cutting corners, sacrificing quality for quantity if I ever saw…the plastic cups for all the beverages that are ONE time use cups are being reused. You can tell in the photos that they tried to run them through the dishwasher because of the water spots on the rim, not to mention someone’s lipstick was stuck on the rim of my water (which I don’t wear). This is also extremely unsafe because the plastic in one time use cups are not made to hold up to the numerous amount of washes and heat from the dishwasher causing it to be toxic over time. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed and will not be going back there. It’s sad because I love supporting local but I can’t support that.

They say kid friendly and mean it! There’s always more than just our baby sitting and eating. The food is good and if you go on a weeknight at happy hour it’s never too crazy. I recommend the wings and chicken sandwich if you go!

Lovely place with delicious food. To combat the heat they have huge fans and we ate at 6 pm comfortably! The loaded fries are great. The salad that came with my sandwich was hearty and had way more than lettuce and tomatoes. We will definitely be back!

The food and drinks are great. This is such a fun little place. If the weather is nice and you want to sit outside you can play Cornhole. Megan and Victor took great care of us. Btw, if you’re down for it order a beer float with a stout.

I just expected better. The service wasn’t good, anytime someone would show up the guy working would slouch / just look upset (rolled his eyes) that someone had shown up and would take a bit to serve them. The food isn’t worth the price for example I payed $3 extra for chicken on my salad and I got maybe 5 small pieces.. and when I explained it to the bar tender lady she acted like I was crazy. Get better service and maybe I’ll be back!

Easy going and comfortable atmosphere, whether you’re with your kids, with a partner, or on your own. The food was great and the beer selection was phenomenal. Our server AJ was a sweet young man, very attentive and friendly. It was a hot Texas summer evening but the fans and shade kept us perfectly comfortable all evening. We’ll definitely be back!
