Took a ride with my club to Athens was looking for a spot to eat .. found this outstanding smokehouse . Excellent BBQ.. Gravel parking lot so if your riding bring a piece of wood to put under your kickstand it’s soft in certain areas. Service was great they get your food right out and plenty of seating in picnic tables outside which is under cover .

Timing is everything! I was craving brisket, so I searched for the best in Monroe County! Others reviews weren’t kidding! Thank goodness it was a Saturday afternoon before 4pm! Luckily, they weren’t sold out!The owners and family members were friendly and helpful.

I got the brisket sandwich and my husband got the prol sandwich, and the Mac and cheese salad. He said the mac and cheese salad was the best he’s ever had!! Both of the sandwiches were PHENOMENAL

We always eat the pulled pork sandwich!! Huge I get Mac salad which I love jalapeños and baked beans. My husband gets the same except potato salad. Never disappoints. Very friendly people. We go on Fridays when we are both off
