My wife and I decided to try Navy blue out this past weekend because we were in the rice village area. I really liked the interior design of the restaurant and the noise level wasn’t to high that you couldn’t have a conversation at the table. the kitchen area was open to the seating area so you can see the staff in action which was pretty cool. The service was outstanding from the start and the food was even better both in taste and presentation.

Love the contemporary interior design – Lively main dining room and more quiet side dining room for conversation. Professional, savvy and friendly staff. Well presented dishes (each one explained when served, appreciate the details). We ordered the recommended signature ones. Paying homage to the gems of South, tried the oysters are from Texas and Alabama The shrimp was a bit on the tougher side (just not as delicate, maybe this is the gulf coast difference). Dishes are well prepared, beautifully plated. Sauces are salty (on main and side dishes), thus the 4 stars. Hopefully the salty touch is an aberration tonight. Note: Valet is available at a fee ($8).

Really nice restaurant. The staff was on point with service and recommendations . My only gripe is the reservation terminology. I booked a table at the lounge, but the lounge also includes seating in a banquet type area behind the area. It really alienates you from everything. I will definitely go back and request a table in the bar area for lounge seating.

Honore, our waiter, was absolutely amazing! He was attentive, professional and explanatory of the menu. He definitely represents the highest of quality you would expect when experiencing a premium fine dining experience. Not only were the drinks top notch! The Scallops, and Red Snapper were amazing!

Navy Blue has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. They have a wide variety of dishes from which to choose. The bread is incredibly good. The croutons on the salads are made in house and are delectable.

Visited Navy Blue for a date night and was delighted by the service we received throughout the night. Our servers were very attentive and helpful with understanding the menu. They did a great job of talking us through the menu and the specials being offered.

Houston is a city filled with excellent restaurants representing many different cuisines, but this relatively new restaurant in the Rice Village area is probably among my top three favorites in Houston. The presentation of the food was outstanding, with just enough fuss to signal the care and craftsmanship involved in preparing the meal. I highly recommend the lobster ravioli– truly outstanding with the ravioli cooked perfectly al dente. The ambiance is buzzing but not so loud that it drowns out conversation at the table. Although this is primarily a fish and seafood restaurant, there are some beef and chicken items on the menu. Enjoy!
