Fantastic food and super friendly. I’ve been to other restaurants where the flavors of the various dishes kind of meld together and there isn’t much differentiation in flavor. Not the case here with each of the three having their own wonderful tastes.

This is my first time trying Indian food in Michigan and I must say it’s an amazing experience. The food was great! We ordered Fish Pakora, lamb Karahi, chicken biryani, and naan. All of them were rich in flavor and the spices were well balanced. The service and dining atmosphere were also top notch. Would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try some authentic Indian food!

The food IS as great they say, and the entire staff is so kind. We ordered in tonight, and after sharing with our family that was over, had to make a second carry out an hour later. 10/10 a new spot and a great addition to downtown Berkley

The Strand Magazine
Nowadays it seems most restaurants serving Indian food tend to make their dishes so spicy that I’ll end up taking a few bites but then eating at home. Nawab makes all their food to order and it has the right amount of kick. Service is good, the ambiance pleasant, portions are generous and tasty. My new favorite Indian restaurant.

Nawab has been open for less than a week, but the food is stellar. Owned by the same people behind Star of India, the attention to presentation and service put these places in the upper echelon of Indian restaurants in the area. I adored the Chicken 65 & onion bhaji. My favorite, though was the Naga King Prawns – beautiful shrimp in a rich, fiery naga curry with peppers & onion.
