Everything on the menu sounded so good, I had a hard time choosing. We are definitely coming back to try more goodies. The service was slow. We had to ask for plates for our biscuits, creme for our coffee, and napkins. There was jelly smeared on my husband’s seat that we had to clean off. We made a reservation, but they wouldn’t seat us until everyone had arrived.

Very good breakfast! I had a veggie skillet over roasted potatoes. My wife had the BELT bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato. She asked for some hollandaise sauce on the side. Our server was glad to accommodate this request. We called ahead because I had read that wait times can be long, but we were seated right away. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their breakfast. Do NOT order more than one pancake unless you are sharing. They are enormous! The table nearest to us got an order of three. We will try it again. Oh yes, Mean Mug coffee is what they serve. Very good!

We went here yesterday for my husbands birthday brunch with family. We made a reservation and arrived on time. We were seated quickly and greeted quickly. Savanna was our server and did a fantastic job. All our food and drink choices were very good. As a vegan and the picky eater out of the bunch I was definitely surprised how well everything was. Will definitely be back.

Our family of 4 plus a baby visited for breakfast. Reservations are highly recommended as walk-in wait times were 30-45 minutes. Several other families with young children as well, very welcoming and family friendly. Our service was slow at first due to staffing, once our order was taken it wasn’t long at all to receive our meals. Presentation from the cook was outstanding. I had the Chicken & Waffles and it was delicious. The crunchy chicken, roasted pecans, soft fluffy waffles all with a drizzle of Maple syrup and powdered sugar will satisfy that southern breakfast craving. Don’t forget to top it off with your favorite morning beverage. I’m simple and had my orange juice, my wife and family enjoyed some of the espressos and macchiatos. Check them out, right in the heart of Cambridge Square.

The food is great here with exceptional service. It has great breakfast choices that are hearty and filling. The coffee bar offers many tasty choices. It is best to make reservations, although they do their best to serve you if you do not have one. I have taken family and friends here and have never been disappointed!

Well I’m sad to say I just received the worst breakfast service ever. Brought hubs for Christmas Eve breakfast and it took over 20 minutes to get pancakes and the PIG bowl. The problem wasn’t so much the wait. We expected hot food since we waited so long but that didn’t happen. One of the waitresses even touched it and confirmed. The pancakes didn’t come out with the cold food and looked divine but at that point we were over it. I was ignored by a group of waitresses while trying to figure out why we were still waiting when a couple who arrived after us had food. We sat long enough that a couple who had no food, got there food, ate their food, paid and left. The gravy had a still to it from sitting so long. Ummm.. my husband feels it because we are black. I’ve supported Wine Down for years and hate that this was the service for the morning. I’ll retreat back to 1885. This was bad. Then to make matters worse the manager said she could bag it up for us to take as if we needed the cold breakfast as a charity case. Just bad. And we were hungry. To Mean Mug Coffee we go…..

I cannot say how much I love this place enough. My family is tired of hearing about Neighbor of Wine Down. The food is absolutely amazing! Chef’s Burrito is my absolute favorite. Drinks are awesome and wonderfully crafted. Service is absolutely on point with the sweetest servers I’ve ever had. Atmosphere is so relaxing whether it be inside or outside. Give this place a chance. It will be one of your favorite(of not all- time favorite) brunch joint!

My most recent meal here was subpar. I really like this spot. I don’t want to see the quality slip. Give it a try. Do not order the avocado toast. Spoiler alert, it’s a bagel. Not tasty.

Coffee strong but not bitter. Omelet so worth it. Best cheese grits ever. Poached eggs, salmon best Eggs Benedict. Highly recommend. Waitresses so helpful. Glad I found this place.

Used to be amazing, they’ve gone down hill. In 2022 I went at least 2x a week for breakfast, I haven’t been back for quite a while.
