I’ve been to NHS on Lovers many times, Addison once, Town Hearth once, and now this newish location on Oak Lawn. Never disappointed. Service was as impeccable as the first time. Sophia delivered the specialties of the day, a substantial list, with confidence and enthusiasm and handled our questions with knowledge. Chris had Fettuccini with Shrimp, Shawny has Steak & Frites, Jenna had Shrimp and Grits with a side of their iconic roasted brussel sprouts, and I had the small Wedge Salad and the Pork Chop. Everyone raved at the flavor and freshness. I would be remiss to forget the appetizer for the table of lightly battered and fried asparagus NHS is known for. Add a nicely priced Ridge Zinfandel and you could only improve on our meals by finishing with dessert… two, shared by the table one chocolate and one with three different Neapolitan inspired scoops of ice cream… neither of which I can remember the name of. What mis-started at an alternative restaurant, resulted in an undoubtedly superior experience with a delicious meal and experience at NHS.
