My boyfriend and I went here tonight. We walked in a bit after 4pm when they opened and were immediately greeted. We were told we could sit anywhere we liked and take a look at the menus. After we sat, the nicest young man came over and asked us if we wanted to try a virgin cocktail. My boyfriend got the virgin mojito and I got the virgin passionfruit margarita. Our order was taken promptly and food arrived quickly despite the tiny place getting very busy since we had walked in. We ordered taquitos, birria tacos, and street tacos. We split the taquitos, and each had our own dish. The waiter explained the dishes to us as well as the assortment of hot sauces. The food was phenomenal, hands down the best authentic Mexican food in the Rochester area. The pricing was fair for the quality of the food. We both left stuffed and very, very happy. We will definitely be going back. I am so impressed with the food and even more impressed with the kindness of the employees and the environment!!

I’ve went to Neno’s ever since I moved to Rochester and it’s amazing. Best hispanic food I’ve ever had. I’ve always stuck with the tres tacos , but they had birria tacos on their menu which I’m obsessed with so I had to order. Amazing. Horchata is always terrific there too. The customer service is always great! Everyone is so nice. If I could only recommend one place in all of upstate ny , I will always say Nenos in Park Avenue.

Food was absolutely delicious as per Neno’s usual but the service at the park ave spot was terrible. First off the hostess wouldn’t let us sit outside even though there were already people out there and open tables. When we went to pay with a Neno’s gift card- she was very rude, calling me honey and getting defensive, not accepting the gift card because it wasn’t “tappable”. Not sure how we are supposed to spend this gift card if systems don’t even take them?

Food was good but portions were very small. Ordered the “street tacos” off their menu which were delicious but very tiny. More like a mini appetizer than an actual meal. Although they were tasty I don’t think they were worth the $14 price for 3 of them.

I politely pointed out that the prices on the website didn’t reflect the menu prices in the restaurant to the person taking my order, and suggested they update it. As I explained to them, it wasn’t a big deal but I figured they’d like to know. They were rude and dismissive to me, arguing with me that their menus for the two other locations were the ones posted on the site. I replied that it might be useful to customers for them to post the third menu. The person ignored me and said in a passive aggressive tone to have a good day.
