The restaurant is beautiful and has a chill vibe. Our waiter, Seth, was polite, attentive, and genuine with just the right amount of checking in and making sure we were good. The food was amazing. Thinking about those crab cakes? Just. Do. It. The sauce that comes with them and the little sping mix compliment the flavors beautifully. I had a cocktail called Axe to Grind, which was earthy with a nice amount of ginger, and it was delicious. The lamb chops are lollipop lamb chops. There were 4, which was more than enough with everything else. They were cooked perfectly and garnished with cabbage that complimented the lamb nicely. The lamb comes with potato in a nice sauce. Our table had the bread service, which was good, and my friends said the macaroni and cheese and brussell sprouts were also good. I enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. If you haven’t tried it, go. You will enjoy!

Had a wonderful Mother’s Day brunch at this lovely place. Excellent service. When the staff saw that we were uncomfortable where we were sitting because of the direct sunlight, she moved us to the table with a shade. Really appreciate the gesture and because of that we were able to enjoy our meal.

We had a lovely Mothers Day brunch and really enjoyed the patio seating with the fam. Our waitress was super attentive and provided excellent recommendations. The servings are large and definitely enough to split or take home for later.

We ate at Neon Fig for brunch this past Sunday and had a great experience. There were seven in our party. Each ordered a different menu item. I’ll give you a brief rundown of what we each ordered and how it was enjoyed (or not). I ordered the yogurt bowl with a side of scrambled eggs and toast. The yogurt bowl had three of my favorite things on it – pistachios, blackberries, and honey. It was a delicious combination. The eggs were light and fluffy. They needed salt and pepper, but that’s easily done at the table. The toast was, well, just toast. My hubby had the waffle and fried chicken, and really liked it. The chicken has a spicy buffalo coating that is well tempered by the honey dipping sauce. My son had the strawberry shortcake pancakes. He deemed them the best pancakes he’s ever had. They were huge. He probably ate less than half and was full. You could probably easily share. My DIL had the turkey sandwich. She said it was good but she would probably order something else next time. My g-son ordered the Captain Crunch French toast. He loved it. It did look delicious. The challah bread is cut thick the coating is crispy/crunchy and topped with berries. Our daughter ordered the Monte Cristo. She loved it (and so did I). I tasted her’s and I will definitely order it next time. My SIL ordered the avocado toast. It was probably the least favorite dish ordered. It looked lovely but he felt the toast needed to be toasted darker or be more substantial to hold up under the avacado and not get soggy. He also wished the avacado had been dressed with a little more kick. He thought it a little bland. Several people ordered bacon and while it wasn’t the Benton’s bacon, thick cut, peppered edge, maple coated experience, it was cooked to a perfect crispness. We didn’t ordered cocktails, but the grapefruit mimosa, cappuccino, and coffee were all fine. Our waiter was attentive, and the staff were great at clearing plates and refilling drinks in a timely manner. The vibe is great with a somewhat upscale feel, but where you could still feel comfortable wearing jeans. We will go back for brunch and probably again in the evening to try the dinner menu. It’s definitely a great addition to the downtown Aiken eating experience!

I worship neon fig. Every time I travel to Georgia from Pittsburgh I have to stop and eat their delicious food. I’ve eaten breakfast and dinner here multiple times and haven’t had a single dish that did not stand out as amazing.

I went to the restaurant for the first time, to celebrate my birthday the night before, on Saturday, and then returned today on my actual birthday for brunch. It is worth the investment because the food quality, service, and environment are superior. The ingredients are fresh, the service is courteous and efficient, and the restaurant has a diverse menu. After I ate there last night, I wasn’t hungry until about 12:30 today, and I realized that the reason was that I ate real food that was actually sustenance, rather than the processed filler than permeates much of our lives in this country. So, going forward I am on this new thing of not supporting casual dining or any type of fast food, and instead, I am going to save and spend my money where there is a focus on quality in all aspects of a restaurant’s operations. Thank you, Neon Fig, for improving my birthday.

I ordered the Beignets. These are not beignets that you might think of when you go to New Orleans. The beignets down there are large squarish and puffy for one thing and they are never greasy. The beignets I got at Neon Fig were four small rectangles…and greasy. There’s nothing like greasy beignets right??? Yum!

Food was very good. A little pricey, but worth the experience. Waiter was excellent, but so was the rest of the staff. There was no “uh, let me find your waiter” if you asked the person running your food a question. They answered it and cleared the app plate and empty drink glass. Everyone had eyes on every table. Seemed like each person on the floor really knew what they were doing. We’ll be back.
