We were searching for something for fathers day, and happened upon Neri’s. The service was excellent, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. My wife and daughter both ended up taking some of theirs home. I was very pleased when the server was able to accommodate my special request for my meal (they offer a chicken and steak, or shrimp and steak burrito, but I wanted chicken and shrimp since we were having steak for dinner) without any issue. Definitely recommend you give them a try if you are in the area. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the guacamole. It was worth the trip by itself!

We herd about this place and drove the 45 min drive on the busiest day for Mexican food, it did not disappoint the food was amazing. We started with the nachos and I loved it they were so fresh and delicious. My main meal was the chicken fajitas and dang they were spot on. We ended our meal with the stuffed churros and they were so good. The wait was long but well well worth it and I would recommend this little place to anyone. I will be back and I will definitely tell people how great this place was.

We like to try different Mexican style restaurants and we really enjoyed Neri’s. The food looks very plain om the plate however the taste is very good. We’ve been to other restaurants where the food looks good but is bland. Neri’s is flavorful and can be a bit spicy. I certainly recommend Neris’s.

Pros: Had the Beef burrito, was great . Little messy , but still very tasty. The guacamole was good , and tortillas are fresh . My son had pancakes and they were huge and fluffy. Tables were clean and bathroom was well kept. Friendly owner who never seems to have a day off. Outdoor seating available and nice mix of Jersey diner / Mexican restaurant. My two favorite things. Costs are fair compared to what you see.

Foods lacks flavor.. staff lacks knowledge of menu.. They are pinching Pennie’s by having customers pay to use their debit card, where else are they cutting cost? I’ve tried this restaurant 3 times and was only satisfied the my first visit.

4/22/23-We dined in between lunch and dinner. We ordered a special (Shrimp Eggrolls) and were very impressed. Shrimp and other ingredients were incredibly fresh and delicious (spicy too , in case you need to know in advance). We also ordered “chips” which were light, colorful and flavorful . We were told they were homemade and they definitely tasted like they were. We also ordered “Nachos”….they were the freshest, tastiest Shrimp Nachos I have had in a long time. I took an order home for the next day.
