Warm reception upon entry. Seated promptly. Pricey brunch menu offered only. Small portions. Limited drink selection. Had the peach bellini and mimosa. It was ok. Southern breakfast was OK and the baked turkey wings with candied yams was better. The Mac and cheese was…. OK. nothing to rave about.

A wonderful new hot spot to gather in Queens! I felt like I was entering a nightclub that served food! The DJ was playing oldies, you know grown folks’ music from the 90s. The atmosphere was awesome and everyone there was happy and in a celebratory mood! I ordered fried chicken which came with your choice of two sides. I got Mac and cheese and peas and rice. I tasted the collard greens and they were “off the chain.” My bill came to $38.00 because I got a mimosa. I look forward to going back soon!

So this was my first of many visits. The food was absolutely delicious I really enjoyed that the owner comes out to greet his customers and check to see that everything is going well. That says a lot for the establishment. I had the weekend brunch Shrimp & Grits. My friend had the Catfish with mac& cheese, collard greens and potato salad. The food was so good that I ordered a meal to go for my sunday dinner. I will definitely dine there again.

Great experience for a first time customer. Responsibly busy for a Saturday. Was told that we would be seated in 20 mins due to a large party. But they made exception to get us seated rather quickly. The crew were warm and welcoming. The food that I ordered was hot and fresh. No complaints, but the highlight of the menu was the peach cobbler pound cake. I’d easily visit again solely for another slice. Aside from the food, the atmosphere was well lit and lively. This restaurant is an easy choice for recommendation.

First time visiting here. I had the catfish with yams and Mac and cheese and everything was great. My friend loved her turkey wings! The mimosa’s was hitting too! Owner came by a few times to chat he’s a great dude! Will definitely be back.

I visited this restaurant on 07/29/23. As soon as you walk in it is a welcoming feeling. The vibe is friendly and the food is really authentic Soul food. The owners are amazing and really care if you are satisfied with the food and service. The macaroni and the yams are my favorites so far. I live over an hour away but will definitely be returning often. Thank you Netties for bringing back real soul food.

First time here last week and overall experience was wonderful. All the food was obviously prepared and made in house and is outstanding. The staff, including the bartender and waiter, were outstanding. Finally the atmosphere is fabulous and the owner walks the floor to talk with the customers and makes sure everyone is ok. Looking forward to returning.
