Atlas is one of my favorites in downtown. I came here for quality and quantity. I recently came here for the third time. The food had not let me down, not even once.

I take the tunnels sometimes when the weather is wonky. Love the lunch options here. Today I am having The Frisco – a tuna steak sandwich with tomato basil mayo and a side of Pesto Pasta… It doesn’t matter what you get, the food is always great, and an affordable price to boot!

It’s gone extremely down hill since the new owners took over. The place looks nicer but the food is horrible. I honestly feel like I got scammed. After paying 9.75 for a chicken tender basket, I was still hungry because they give you less than 1 chicken breast worth of chicken that has all of the breading falling off and soggy fries that are 30% salt. I will not be back and I recommend every else stay away as well. They are trying to piggyback off the success from the last owners.

I’ve eaten here for the past 11.5 years (and under 3 owners). Atlas has always been pretty good, but it needs to be said that under the new owners it remains as consistently good as always except now the tortilla chips are cooked properly and you don’t get charged extra for a side of dang salsa to eat with your tortilla chips. AND you get two flavors of salsa (the green is ridiculously good), which appear homemade. In addition, the new owners have added some south-of-the-border flare to the menu by offering delicious specials such as empanadas, chimichangas, and more. Even the new salmon with veggies is amazing (but rough to pay $15 or whatever it is for a lunch time meal). Anyway, I still love Atlas and get the veggie burger almost every time I run over for lunch. Give them a(nother) try!

Delish and easy to order! I usually call in and pick it up, but have dined in for breakfast and lunch on several occasions. The menu isn’t huge to where you get lost, but each item is amazingly prepared. They have a special everyday and I highly suggest the chicken fried steak day!

This place has the best breakfast spot in downtown! And the staff here is incredibly kind.

Popped in today to revisit an old favorite – the beef stew in a sourdough breadbowl… only to find out that they aren’t really the same restaurant. Though the old menu is still up on the web, nothing is the same.

I had the spanish omelette and it was great. The place has an old style diner look and feel to it. Not the type where it was ok intentionally done to be trendy, but the type that if it weren’t for the flat screen tv on the wall you’d think you’d stepped back in time. I’ll definitely be back.

This place is a little hard to find.. the key is Courtyard by Marriott, there is a corridor of shops with an entry right by the Marriott.. it is worth the time to find it.. service and food is good. Friendly staff and lots of seating. You need to place your order at the counter and they will bring your food to you. Leave your plates on the table.. Fun place.

Usually come here for Sunday brunch. Great atmosphere inside the first floor of the Atlas Life Building. You can sit at the counter or grab a table inside or in the open hall. Servers are always welcoming and the food is always home cooked, coffee is always topped off, and a place where kids can be kids. Kids order the pesto pasta, with a side of toast, and I’ll get the breakfast sandwich with basil mayo.
