The street tacos are big, but the Al Pastor is on point. My favorite Mexican restaurant in New Braunfels by far. Always good food & great service.

Usually I absolutely love this place. I am only giving 4 stars because of this very unusual menu item. The Super Kono is an ungodly size, packed with meat and cheese, and so artery-clogging you can’t really enjoy it. Most of the time it’s a fine place to meet coworkers – great eggs, great sides, familiar digs.

Can’t get enough of this place! I’ve been to every establishment within a 100 mile radius that sells breakfast tacos (just about 🙂 ) and NB Tortilleria has everyone beat!! There’s not enough stars here for a fair review! Everyone’s friendly, courteous, and helpful with menu items. There’s a welcoming atmosphere and the restaurant is clean and cozy. But the main part, the food, is slap your mama good! (Sorry, mom)

We ordered our breakfast ahead and picked up in the drive through. Everything was excellent. The portions are very generous for the price. Of course the tortillas were delicious and fresh. The barbacoa taco was huge and so moist and flavorful. Will definitely come back!

I have wanted to try this place for a long time. The enchiladas were good. The gueso was just so-so, appeared to be melted Velveeta without any thing added. Chips and salsa were good. 3.5 stars.

If you are looking for a small mom and pop type place this is for you. If you’re looking for upscale, overpriced dining this isn’t the place.

Not my cup of tea. Salsa was really good not too spicy but chips was not made there but from store. Birria had cheese in it witch I didn’t like, and flavor was not that strong. Asada taco so so….I mean u don’t need to be expert to make meat bu also it come only with onion and cilantro. Also Birria was very grisy . Jamaica was to deluded with water. Really small place and crowded. Service was polite and fast.

Delicious, flavorful and hot traditional Mexican favorites. Breakfast, tacos and lots of lunch specials. Friendly and fast courteous staff. Family environment and casual. Huge bowls of menudo and tortilla soup. The hot sauce was super fresh with a kick! Yes it gave me the hiccups! Crispy tacos were fat, juicy and tasty.

The Birria tacos were phenomenal! I’ve never tasted charro beans that were so divine. And the rice was cooked to perfection. Let’s not forget about the Michelada (not pictured), a perfect mix of beer and spices. Food was ordered and brought out promptly by Moses, who also took the time to connect with us and recommend some menu items, as well as check in with us periodically. The food also stayed HOT the ENTIRE time we were seated, yes all four tacos remained hot! Service received from the staff was first-rate! Mariah was cashier and took the time to connect with us, leading to a customer service experience that I can talk about over and over again. I look forward to returning time and time again for consuming many more menu items!
