Past few times we have dined in at 8pm we noticed they start picking up salad and dessert bar at 8:30pm regardless of how many customers are seated. Food is okay. Boiled shrimp is good.

I used to eat here at least once a month but then I would see a roach every time I went..I’ve seen roaches on the salad bar, on the wall in the sitting area, and one time one actually scurried across the table as we ate. Disgusting. They also double charged us. I had the bill split up so I could pay for my own and my grandma pay hers. I didn’t get the receipt after I paid mine so they charged my grandmother for the whole bill. Actually tried to accuse me of not paying and chased me into the parking lot. I didn’t find out they made my grandma pay the full bill until we were back home. If someone told me they took care of the roach problem I would consider eating there again. Maybe..

Had a bad experience today with New Buffet City. Last night I ordered take out. Got home and when the charge cleared in my bank, they charged my card twice. No biggie I’ll just go bring it and get it fixed. Yeah it didn’t happen like that at all. I went in and spoke to the gentleman behind the counter. I explained what was wrong and he told me to hold on and called I guess would be the owner. Explained to her what was going on, handed me his phone to talk to her and she didn’t give me any time to explain. She called me a liar. I told her I had the receipt AND was showing him my bank pulled up with duplicate charges and she said what you gonna do. Refused to refund me for the double charge. Laughed at me. Not professional at all. I loved New Buffet City. But after how I was treated today I can tell that the customers are not valued. It’s sad. Out of 26. and some change because they won’t honor their mistake. SMH

My Wife and I have been to many Chinese Buffet restaurants throughout the country, but couldn’t even imagine that by far the best tasting food at a Chinese Buffet could be found in Picayune, MS! We just made our third trip there; food and service were consistent each visit. My wife, a native of New Orleans commented that the crawfish were “expertly cooked, and seasoned properly…” as she polished-off two plates of them! General Tso’s Chicken was actually as spicy as it should be, the “chicken stick” was magnificent, and the baked cheese mussels were to die for. Coconut shrimp, was excellent along with other seafood dishes. Mongolian pork was worth the third trip back alone. I cannot say enough about this buffet. One must experience it in person. Clean, open dining room and buffet lines; the restrooms aren’t anything to write home about, but how much time are you going to spend in there? Doesn’t look like much from the street, but do NOT let that keep you from the food.

if you go during lunch or anytime saturday food is good and hot not sitting for long. evenings are slower so food sit a little late in evening. they cant keep fried shrimp, garlic green beans, lo mein, fried rice, and teriyaki chicken stocked. only reason rated service lower, they dont keep the food coming on the buffet, they let it run out before bringing out more.

BY far the ABSOLUTE WORST FOOD I’ve ever eaten. I should have took my $58 and flushed it down the toilet. Me my wife and my daughter are all feeling like after eating here. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, HORRIBLE.

Really,really nice set up for a buffet in picayune,ms I believe. Mostly Chinese based food but also hav3 some others like fried catfish boiled shrimp cheap ice cream. Also really well priced 2 people under $30 not bad at all.
