This place used to be excellent. Now it’s the worst diner on this side of the Bronx. Ordered a burger med well. Overcooked & dry. How can any “cook” mess up a burger?! Ordered lasagna it tasted like CINNAMON! Disgusting! That was 5 years ago! Haven’t been back! Double YUCK!

Very disappointed. I been going to Capital for over 30 years. I always liked the atmosphere and the service. Now prices are going up and the food is getting less per serving. Today I ordered a cup of coffee they asked me if I wanted a refill I said yes. And they charged me for it when I questioned the bill no more refills of coffee what’s next water?

Food was great. Price was affordable. Love the Strawberry Cheesecake. However, was unsure as to who our server was. A young gentleman started assisting us at first, even going so far as to give us our menus and take our orders. But later on in the meal a young lady started helping us and if we asked our first server for anything he would just point over at the second server. This lead to some hiccup in the service as neither one checked up on us very often, or at all really.

Absolutely terrible service. I arrived at 6:50am to have breakfast while waiting for the supermarket to open to buy my lunch, and felt absolutely unwelcome. The waiter had a surprised look in his eyes that literally told me: what are you doing here? Upon such a treatment I decided to only have coffees instead. I asked if I could have hot milk for my coffee and he said he couldn’t do that. Every restaurant and dinner I ever been to can do this simple task. A 30 seconds microwave job. Then he showed up with a paper cup!!!That is when I flipped. Are you kidding me? Why would I chose to go to a dinner and pay double for my coffee to be served on a paper cup. I just can’t believe I had to even ask for a coffee cup. Very disappointing.
