Seriously, the food is good but there is absolutely no point getting a plate lunch. They’ve reduced the amount of meat by about 20% (roughly what the small plate had before), increased the rice by 50% and the price 25%!!!

Visiting from Houston. I travel a fair amount and seem to find my way into chinatowns all over. Char Sui House has some of the best Crispy Roast Pork and Char Siu. Also the roast duck was good. It’s a little shop with friendly people. Parking is a little bit of a pain.. but found a paid parking lot 1 block over ($1-$3) Will definitely visit again.

The best place to get your meats here in Chinatown. Roast pork, pork belly, duck, shoyu chicken, etc. I’ve been to all the shops in Chinatown…. Char Siu House is #1. They even have freshly made homemade ‘doong’ here. There’s always a short line of customers here. This should tell you something.

Authentic chicken with ginger onion sauce. Taste just like at home but better. You have to try it if you’re in Hawaii. Duck was tender the sauce is good and not oily like other places. Exceeded expectations.
