New Fern was excellent. The fried haddock was perfect. My wife had the seafood broil. Their Mac and cheese side is creamy, cheesy, deliciousness. Everything was outstanding. We were accepted on a Friday night without a reservation, but I do not recommend that on weekends. Call ahead to reserve a table. They filled up quickly after we were seated, and I overheard others without reservations being turned away, politely. I am so grateful they fit us in on such a busy night. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about their offerings. We will be going back soon to try some other entries that sounded great. We did not have dessert but saw a bunch go by us. Omg! The slices of cake are huge, and I could smell the lovely aroma as they went by. I think one was an espresso cake. Man, did it smell good! This was unexpected for Muncy PA. This small town really has some good places to eat. New Fern is now in my top 2 in town.

Service is terrible and severs are very mean and nasty with smart attitudes. Then the owner allows that type of behavior. Doors got slammed table got wiped off half and took 10 mins for service and carded a 78 year old man . So disappointed since I grew up in this area. Will never go back

We had a fantastic meal at New Fern Park last week. It had been a while since we’ve eaten there so we didn’t know what to expect. The menue truly has something for everyone. We started with soup. I had the crab bisque, my wife had the Mac and cheese with ham . Both were excellent. For our main dish I had the Seafood St. David, which was fabulous. My wife had the steak salad, which she said was fabulous. Service was quick and friendly and the portions were extremely generous. We will definitely be back.

Nice bar/restaurant. Not too fancy, but clean and inviting. We, as usual, sat at the bar to eat. The seats were comfortable. It’s a smaller bar area, so you need to be comfortable with conversation and proximity to other patrons. We DO enjoy that, and its why we sit at the bar. The food was much better than expected and the portions were more than generous. We will definitely return.

Menu had new and different items. My Bavarian tips over peroigs, delicious! Two out of five of my husband’s potato wedges were inedible unfortunately. Prices were steep. Loved the place.

Great food and more than what you pay for! Only advice is make plates a little smaller (there was 2-3 servings more than I could handle) to help keep pricing lower. Each meal was on average of $25-30 a plate not including drinks or appetizers. But very nice staff and very good food!
