Enjoying a very delicious early dinner. New Flavors is our favorite Chinese Restaurant to go for both dining in and for take out.

My man and I were looking for good chow mein for a good price for a minute and since we found this place we can’t help but keep coming back. We’ve been on a budget and have been satisfied sharing just one order of these noodles each time. For $12 we both can eat and the people who’ve served us have all been super sweet even though we only order one thing, even when we came like 10 minutes before closing. The veggie chow mein is stacked, perfect flavor, and is the perfect ratio of noodles and vegetables; it includes bean sprouts, broccoli, mushrooms, snap peas, onions, green onions, carrots, and bok choy. Plus soy sauce packets and fortune cookies. (: Beats any other place we’ve tried for noodles. 12/10 every time!!

This place is awesome, I’ve been here 5-6 times and it’s been fantastic every single time. A classic old school, affordable Chinese place with a million options all between 9-16 dollars. The dinner specials give you a crazy amount of appetizers and food; I always end up with two full meals and I have a big appetite. It can be a bit chilly so bring a jacket in the winter if you tend to get cold (they leave the front door open for air circulation). It seems like a lot of their business is takeout (which I’ve done and it’s good!), but I recommend coming in and sitting down, you only get the soup with the lunch/dinner special if you dine in.

I’ve been looking for a cheap-eat Chinese restaurant in West LA. And I’m glad to say that this is it. My friends and I went for the lunch special. The whole fried fish (dou ban yu) in the photo was so worth it. Only $9.15 for the entire fish! I’d say that’s a pretty good deal.

The servers were super efficient and professional. How did two people handle the whole front house? Wow we were impressed. Delicious too. Five stars.

Food Was Bomb Beginning To End, They Hook It Up With The Chinese Version Of Chips N Salsa. Do Yourself A Favor And Order Moo Shu It Comes Fresh and The Waiter Will Wrap It In A Crepe Before Your Very Eyes!!! Forks Weren’t Perfectly Clean But Meh It Happens. Also The Service Was Fast As Heck This Place Has Badass Workers. I Came Here Just Because I Was Passin’ Through And I’m Really Happy I Chose RANDOMLY To Stop Here. Enjoy!!

This place is really good. Had the taste from back home, so it has that homely flavor and service. The portions are bigger than you expect, but totally worth it. This is a hidden gem for sure.
