Under new management which is nice to see. You could tell that the new owners really cleaned everything and made it brand new again. The food was great and the service was excellent. We lucked out b/c we went on a Monday which was a holiday and google messed up and put that they were closed which wasn’t good for the resturaunt but it was great for us 🙂 They were helpful in getting flowers delivered and set up for a surprise for me for my birthday. Everyone who was working came out and sang to me, they brought me cheesecake with a candle and cherries on it as well. The food was really good and we will most certainly come back!! Can’t wait to come back when the sushi window is ready in a few weeks!!

Review is for the new fujiya house they have new management starting February 1st. Went in today had a great experience they are still working out some kinks with google etc but they are open everyday now ! They also offer online ordering as well may be coming to Uber and door dash later. Updated phone number was submitted for them and unfortunately I forgot to get some photos of the menu. They will do the bento boxes on the weekend (3 bucks more). Food is excellent the soup has way more flavor then it used too under old management . Sushi is still great this is the best Japanese restaurant in the Fredericksburg area. Will be back for birthdays, events and lunch. Manager is a great guy. Lots of options excellent sushi portions and great flavor. Enjoy!

My girlfriend and I are from out of town and we came here for the sushi and a mai tai. We sat at the sushi bar and the person who sat us was very nice and attentive. The sushi chef was very nice and personable. We had great conversation and the sushi was excellent. The drinks we had were very good too. That was one of the better sushi experiences I’ve had and I highly recommend this place. The environment is friendly as well. I wish I was rich because I would’ve tipped so much more. If you like sushi and and a good experience I highly recommend coming here

By far the worst hibachi experience I’ve had. We took our daughter for her birthday hoping she would enjoy the show. There was a barely a show as they really just made the food and that’s it. Staff where fighting over tips. Even with scheduling ahead I had to remind them it was for a birthday three times. Pretty sure these guys had been partying as everyone was in zombie mode. Food came out good so I’ll say that. Will not be returning.

It was great… As with hibachi we were with other people who wanted to talk among themselves and didn’t get into the show til the end. I enjoy these places with more outgoing people than my kids and I and since I didn’t get that I gave my only 4 on atmosphere. Not their fault but still……

My boyfriend and I picked up food here for dinner and I’m so glad we did! I’ve always gone to Kobe and told him I wanted to try something different so we tried here and it was SO good! Will continue coming here! We had the hibachi dinners shrimp and chicken and the chicken was flavored well, only thing i could say is the chicken could have been cooked a little less – but the shrimp was good as well. Rice wasn’t greasy and was amazing as well! We both really enjoyed this place for dinner! We spent about 30 per person – overall around 60 for 2 people.

I’m only giving this a two because the food looked good. We didn’t stay to eat. The restaurant is extremely noisy, we were sat at a table with young children who were up and about, and the prices for dinner were pricey. I’d do pick up here or go with a large group to fill a table, but for an enjoyable dinner out for just the two of you, avoid this restaurant.
