Update: I think they changed owners or something because the restaurant name is no long SanMaru, but it’s now an AYCE spot! $30-40 per person for really good cuts. The beef belly was definitely our favorite, it was sooooo fatty and meaty. The kalbi was on point. Literally so impressed by the high quality cuts at this place. The banchan really tastes a step up from your regular Korean restaurant. High recommend going, I suggest 4-5 plates for 2 people. We got 6 and weren’t able to finish our last plate.

We love the lunch selections at Sanmaru, absolutely five stars. However, we felt the dinner items were overcharged. We ordered the mandu ($9) and expected some house made dumplings, however, it was the mini Korean dumplings which Costco carries. How I know? Because I bought them all the time and am very familiar with the taste. The Korean fried chicken ($11) were Forster Farm chicken nuggets covered in spicy sweet sauce. They weren’t appetizing to be honest. The bulgogi ($38) was not exciting either; bland and low quality meat.

The best quality of meats and side dishes in the WA. I’ve been to many Korean BBQ places but this one is legit! Marinade Angus short ribs are amazing ! I love this place so much also the staffs are very friendly

It appeared to be expensive when you look at the menu but after eating here, the quality of meat is pretty good and lot of volume they serve, I realize the price is fair.

It had been awhile since eating here but it looks like there are new owners now as the name has changed. I don’t mind paying more for the same product, but many of the things that used to come with the meal are no longer offered and customer service is nearly non-existant. The waiter was robotic and did not explain the options well. Although the food we did eat was OK, the experience was definitely nothing like it used to be.

Food is authentic and staff is lovely! Definitely recommend the Lunch-Combo if you don’t have the bbq and want to try more than 1 dish.

Terrible place. Never had good service here, but, yesterday was the worst!!! There was NO service. They delivered the food on the table, since then, never saw the waitress. I went to kitchen asking for water and they said they will send water, but, it never happened. I had to look for waitress to pay for the dinner, and THERE WAS 18% TIPS charged on the bill. I asked what the tip is for and she said it is store policy to charge 18% on the table that is more than 5 ppl and I can add more, if I want to. I told her that she never came to our table and she said nothing. Food was ok, but, always unpleasant experience with this place. I will never go this place again

I decided to give this place a try because the menu prices were slightly cheaper than other places nearby. Most of the folks coming in while I was waiting for my takeout order were speaking Korean (promising!) I ordered seafood tofu soup (haemul soondubu) which was ready in 15 minutes. I wish the takeout packaging was better/more presentable but was pleasantly surprised that my soup was still hot when I got home. What would have made it perfect: more banchan, more seafood in the soup and having brown rice in stock. Would come back to try dine-in.
