Came to Golden Mountain restaurant for the first time today. Definitely didn’t disappoint! The crab Rangoon and egg drop soup was delicious!! I ordered the orange chicken with lo mein. The lo mein was delightful but most of the orange chicken was tough and overcooked. The sauce on the chicken was very good though. I would definitely recommend this place!.

You can smell the food from a block down. When we walked in, we were greeted immediately and everyone was smiling. We got to sit down without a wait and our server had drinks to us in less than 5 minutes. We ordered a couple appetizer, like dumplings, egg roll and crab rangoon. All were delicious. The Kung pao chicken was delicious with just enough kick and the sweet and sour chicken was fresh and crunchy. The hot and sour soup didn’t last long. It was delicious. This will be a monthly stop for sure. Check it out, you won’t regret it.

What a nice surprise to find this restaurant in Omaha! I am Cantonese and I have to say their dim sums are authentic and fantastic! So glad someone is doing this in Omaha. Lunch special is around $11 and comes with an appetizer a soup. Wow! The decor is nice not your typical Chinese restaurant. Come support them as I want to see them around next time I come to town.

The atmosphere was clean and the staff were friendly. I ordered beef and chicken combination fried rice without veggies. However they gave me veggies and fixed it right away. But it was dry and only got two shrimps. In my opinion I think it was overpriced for 12.95

Ordered the Salt & Pepper Shrimp which came out with shell, tails, and legs. Never have I had this meal served this way. I tried to pull the legs, and shell off of the shrimp by hand but couldn’t since it was too hot to handle. I complained to my server who brought the manager out. She said this is the way they prepare it, and I should have seen this in their menu picture which measured 3/4”x 1” and blurred. Was not happy at all after they told me they wouldn’t take this back. So I paid for food I couldn’t eat. Pathetic way to run a business.

Ordered whole Peking duck with lo mein. It was okay for a $50 dish- I was expecting more flavor and crispiness. There also wasn’t enough sauce and the lo mein (no veggies) was sub-par. Service was fast and attentive though.

Very tasty!! There is something on the menu for everyone , as there are tons of entree options as well as dim sum. There are plenty of sweet and savory dishes and you will absolutely leave stuffed. A great place to go with a group and get food to share!
