Consistenly the best and freshest food! I am super picky with salads and they nail it every single time! Lettuce is never brown or wilted. Their tuna is EXCELLENT! The actual prices are 33% higher than what is one the website which is outrageous. “Hey, I think you rang me up wrong. This pizza is supposed to be $10. This steak is suppose to be $X” “Oh, we haven’t updated our website yet so everything is a little higher.” In total my bill as 33% higher which is not “a little”. When I got home I told my wife. She said, you know I forgot to tell you he said the same when I went and picked up from there 2 months earlier. We are in an inflationary environment so a little surprise is understandable. Prices are an easy thing for a business owner to update themselves if they manage their own website or a pretty cheap and basic service if a 3rd party manages your site for you. A this point, they aren’t updating the site to take advantage and charge whatever they thinks they can get away with. I know other Pizza joints that have raised prices a little so in comparison New Haven seems very out of line. I will end this review on a positive note that the food is and has always been good. The lack of transparency is extremely disappointing

To PJ….what are you smoking? There is no print on their menu that indicates they deliver. They have never delivered for the past 20 years. And to the previous review about prices…Bye..bye! Go find another place that matches New Haven prices and quality. You’ll be back, so stop with the negative review. And best customer service.

Got a small calzone with ham. Came with marinara sauce. Don’t think calzones are suppose to have marinara sauce in them. Maybe on the side. Menu online read $10 for a small, I paid basically $13.78. Good food, but also not what I expected with price and sauce.

Very friendly staff. Quick service. Clean toilets. Parking is very difficult because of construction in the area. The food was very good. I had the pizza. They have everything that you can want for a small family style restaurant. I would definitely recommend.

My family has been going here for years. My mom used to always get the 2 large one topping pizza special. Never had a bad meal from this place. The pizza is unique. What makes it for me is the sauce. It’s full of flavor. You can tell it’s a family recipe versus taking tomato sauce from a can and putting it straight onto the pizza (which I’ve had pizza from other places and that’s how it taste to me). So if you’re looking for something that’s different from your typical New York thin crust, go here. What can you say? They don’t deliver, yet they they’ve been in business for decades and they’re always packed at lunchtime. That alone should tell you that the food is good .
