The restaurant is very nice inside. Quite pleasing atmosphere. The employees were very friendly. You get a decent amount of food for what you pay. We did online ordering, it was pretty intuitive. The egg drop soup is fairly good. The fried chicken was pretty good, a little too much breading. I really liked the egg rolls. Our meals on the other hand were a little bland. The rice was ok but dry. It won’t stop me from coming back.

I can’t say anything bad about this restaurant. My wife and I had a very satisfying lunch. I always have a hard time giving five stars to anyplace that is not totally unique, elegant and of exceptional quality. For what and where the New Hunan is I would call it excellent.

Best authentic Chinese food that I’ve had since moving to the heartland! Clean, friendly staff, wonderful egg drop soup, and yummy egg rolls. We had the Hunan Chicken and it was nicely seasoned, not too hot! I’ll be back…. coming from Lanesboro!
