Customer service was pleasant. The food was fresh, hot & well cooked. I specifically ordered a lunch special “General TSO Chicken Crispy.” The food was surprisingly spicy in a good way. The pork fried rice was also tasty. I would definitely order here again. (Disclaimer: I ordered and picked it up in person.)

I have been ordering from this location for years now, at least three times a month. The food is great, staff very friendly, atmosphere is what you should see at a small, busy take out place. It is easy to tell when a restaurant puts pride into the food they serve, and I always come away satisfied here.

Food was okay, not my favorite. Mozzarella sticks were good, but came with no marinara sauce. Fried rice was good, lo maim was super bland and shrimp was VERY shrimpy. Egg roll was good. I would def not get the lo melin again though, feel like I wasted money on that one. Women at pick up was friendly.

High score on the most recent Health Department Inspection. Great food, good cooks, authentic Chinese food. New Moon has been around since the early 80s when the father came over as an immigrant. It’s currently in it’s second generation. Everything they make is with their own hands. If you’re around in the morning you can see them prepping the days food. I’ve been eating at New Moon since 94. They are a tight family. Taking Tuesdays off to enjoy the summer vacation with their children. It’s not about food, pricing or cleanliness. It’s about knowing the family on a personal level. It’s about off menu cooking. It’s about helping thier neighbors. I’ve witnessed them hand food to people in need. No questions asked. I’m not loyal to New Moon for the food and it’s quality. I’m loyal to New Moon because New Moon is a good neighbor. I’m happy they came to Naugatuck. You will be too.

Ordered my lunch right at 11 o’clock as they opened up took it out in the car right next to the building and started to eat the egg rolls were room temperature at best The pork fried rice was Spanish rice Not the typical Asian pork fried rice you normally would get and also was room temperature at best The general tso’s chicken was hot and that’s the only reason why they get just a star this establishment used to be a 5 out of 5 in the area I’m very saddened that the quality went down

When you call they should ask if we want wins and fries together. example do you want chicken wins and french fries or just the wins. Because the other day I call to place an order of wins and french fries and one extra order of french fries and just got wins and the extra order of fries. They should also be more polite when we go there say thank you or please wait a minute.

When we just moved here about a year ago, this is the only place we would get some fast food but every time the prices changed, we would order the same thing but the prices would go up. I spoke to the owner and he said everyday their prices go up on their orders. Well yesterday was my last day to order food at this place. The price you pay here you better off go to a nice eat In restaurant and still will not pay that much including your tip. It’s becoming ridiculous and yeah me coming from Brooklyn the food is not that good.
