Cool little restaurant that dishes out some good BBQ. To us, BBQ places are a lot about how well the meat tastes but also how good the sides are. Here, the meat was amazing, the sausage had a bit of a kick, pulled pork was moist and tasty and the brisket was on point.

This is one of the hidden gems for bbq in middle Tennessee. We discovered it when they used to do catering as Tom’s Blue Moon. My company would bring them in regularly, and they had the most amazing brisket. Went there today and the brisket wasn’t as good as it used to be as Tom’s, but it was still better than most bbq places, where it tends to be dry. Their beans are the best. Highly recommend if you are in the Lebanon area.

Is no atmosphere, ‘atmosphere’? Good old ‘country’ bar b q. I love the sauce, the pinto beans, smoked bologna (not ‘super’ smoked’) and turnip greens. Friends said brisket was good – service was slow but no one was in a hurry. Good place.

Good BBQ today. I had the BBQ sandwich and fries (pictured). Fries were pretty good because they had the dry rub seasoning on them. BBQ was juicy and delicious, with a large portion. I would get it again. Wife got some BBQ taco thing called Elvis taco (pictured). She liked it, but had a little too many beans for her taste. Little pricey, but everything is getting pricey now.

I got the brisket plate with the green beans and roasted potatoes. The food was excellent, and unlike some other places that give a tiny portion of brisket, they gave a nice, hefty amount of brisket. Both the sides were also excellent. The only negative was the price tag, but you absolutely get what you pay for.

If you find yourself in Lebanon and looking for good barbeque, New Moon should be on your list. The food itself is pretty damn good. Working through the plentiful decor on the walls will keep you occupied for a while. The only gripe I have is with the understanding of how they go about their business. My party and I sat around for about 10 minutes waiting for refills to go and how/where we were to pay. We got there right as they opened, so there were only four other tables with guests by the time we were ready for the checks. The price point is average for quality smoked meats, and I really enjoyed the cornbread. Definitely recommend the mac and cheese.

What a great BBQ place! I got the Loaded Nachos and holy cow they do not skimp on portion size. It’s definitely enough for two people and was amazing in flavor. Deducted a star in service because there was only one server for a bunch of people. Maybe someone called out. Very nice environment also. Overall a fantastic place!

So , I talked my Boyfriend into trying New Moon … we pre ordered the Jboy for Easter. And although the BBQ taste as awesome as always , the portion for 30 plus $ was ridiculous !
