Honestly this is a thing for me, I hate wine serve in plastic, and this is my experience here, that threw me off, my wine was warm, he’ll no it’s already hot in NOLA, food was great but the crab cake was a bit too dry for me. Our serve was really kind. Apart from the warm drinks and crab cake, everything else was great.

These were some very tasty dishes, well served and in decent sized portions for our British stomachs. Seafood Broil was shared between 2 of us. The let down was that the Shrimp presented in the Louisiana Bloody Mary was well past it’s best and Sat on the table, reeking until we left. I had to request that the cocktail be removed from the bill, even though I’d pointed out the problem. As Brits in the US, we were surprised.

Really lovely place with excellent service! The catfish decatur (pictured first) is a great authentic taste and was one of the best things I have eaten in my entire life. The red beans and rice and the creole pasta were also delicious!

Absolutely amazing. Some of the best creole food that my wife, myself, and sister-in-law have had. We’re all big foodies, and the crab cakes were life changing. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. We sat at a table quick. The drinks were delicious, and the waitress was quick, prompt, and was very attentive to our table.

New Orleans Creole cookery was recommended to us by our hotel concierge! This recommendation was great, the food and service was amazing! I would highly recommend this restaurant! Worth visiting if you are in New Orleans! Also we went on wine Wednesday and wine is half price, which is a great deal!

My mother and I attended this establishment on June 24, 2023. We waited patiently to be served until a lovely waitress noted we had yet to receive service. After 15 minutes of waiting, a waiter named Kevin came. He made a poor excuse saying he was busy. However, we noted Kevin was attentive to two other tables and completely ignored us before the initial waitress got to help us. He took our drink and food order and left again. Another party came in behind us with Kevin as their server, and they immediately received his attention. At this point, I’m noticing Kevin is only focused on white patrons. I want to clarify Kevin appears to be African American. I’m not saying this to correlate as I should receive special treatment due to my race. But I should expect fair treatment because I’m a paying customer.

We came upon this place on a tour and decided to dine in. The charboiled oysters were cheesy and soft! Just delicious! The etouffee was a touch salty but it was still good! The shrimp creole is bursting with tomato goodness!! The dips were also nice either crab! Their drink Rollin on the River is a must! The gumbo is also what got us in. I got a vegan one and it was filled with green beans and tomato. Just rich! It is pricey so choose your favs.

Myself along with a group of perrs decided to have dinner here…mostly because of the menu variety and cost under $50/person.

I came here with my wife and we have the blackened redfish, shrimp, creole, and the crabcake Napoleon. Overall, the proteins were great. The vegetables didn’t make me feel loved, and. The staff was efficient, but they seemed tired and not super personable. Atmosphere was ok- it wasn’t magical.
