I am absolutely done with the New River Store & Deli. Ever since they let Regina L Short go, it has been problem after problem. This is the 3rd time they have overcharged me, at least this time I caught it before I walked out. Their biggest problem is their new store owners. The head manager they call “uncle gary” is rude and won’t even say sorry for his own mistakes. He acts like it’s an inconvenience if I try to get something corrected. The first time he overcharged me $10. Said it was a computer glitch, but he never gave me my original receipt, and when I went back to ask for a one, the female manager gave it to me and there was drinks and food I never bought on it. Second time, he double charged my uncle ($80 worth), had him run his bank card twice but on two different machines, we only caught it because of his new bank statement. Today, he had his cook in there by herself with barely any register training. She charged a higher price (almost double) for a pack of cigarettes because she couldn’t find the price for the one that was bought because he didn’t have it clearly listed at all. She also couldn’t do a refund because she didn’t know how. This was not her fault, this is her employers fault. So everyone who goes there, please check your bank statements and receipts to make sure you don’t get overcharged too!

Love this deli alway had good food nevér had anything nasty or unedable for here. And i gotta say best philly steak andbl cheese i have found well worth the price of $9 a footlong. In the area and hungry for good deli style food eat here for sure.
