I ordered sweet and sour chicken and an order of crab ragoons. The crab ragoons were great but the sweet and sour chicken was horrible . Nothing but fried batter , dry , clearly old . Would not recommend.

Delivery was fast however the food was terrible. My daughter got the beef lo mein took a few bites and said it was not that great. I ordered general taos chicken combo with white rice and egg roll. The egg roll tasted awful and the chicken was hard, dry and over cooked. I threw the whole meal away. I don’t know if they got a new cook, but the food does not taste like it used to. It’s terrible now Last time I get food from this restaurant.

Alright. So, I’m leaving this review because after eating here I’m surprised that their overall review score is as low as it is. I understand ppl are more likely to receive a generally negative review than a generally positive one so I thought I’d take a few minutes and say that based on what I ordered (a pricier option on many menus and no exception here) the sesame shrimp with fried rice ($17.50 with upcharge for plain fried rice), I don’t quite understand why so many ppl are shocked by the prices. Yeah, could it be a few dollars less? sure. But- it’s from a family owned and operated restaurant in a strip mall and the food was absolutely better than many walk-in Chinese places in my neighborhood in Philly (less than 15 min away). I waited less than 10 min when I walked in and placed my order. The shrimp was large and flavorful. Rice was sticky and fried. People were nice enough. These days Target is selling a Colgate standard toothbrush for $7. $20 to eat out seems kinda on par with these crazy expensive times.

Ordered House Egg Food Young. That means chicken, pork, and shrimp. Had 2 very small shrimp. Paid over 12 bucks for 2 shrimp. Was told order would be ready in 20 mins. I arrived 30 mins after and had to wait 10 mins longer in the restaurant. This place is HORRIBLE. Stood in waiting area for 5mins without a greeting; the girl kept coming to the front only for the phone. So inattentive. She wasn’t even helping the kitchen, which is what she was acting like she was doing. I was too lazy to ride further down Ridge to Dream House. Never again. Dream House is WAY better. Never coming back here‼️. If I could give less stars, I would.

My dish, a “Chef Specialty” Ruby special combination was supposed to be chicken and shrimp in a special spicy house sauce. Chicken was overcooked, dry and tough and I only found one piece of what may have been shrimp (it was all breaded and overly fried), which was also tough. And the sauce was not special or spicy. Rather disappointing.

First time here: I feel ripped off. I ordered a decent amount of food but for 2 people it came to $65. First, they nearly forgot my two drinks. Didn’t tell me they were out of the one even though I provided my number to call in case something went wrong. They only gave a sm container of rice for at least 2 full meals of food. The food is very tasty. The bourbon chicken was my favorite. They upcharge on some flavors such as the wontons. I ordered two different flavors at a $4 difference and they literally tasted the same: general tso’s (which is pork not chicken) and Szechuan. My partner ended up not eating her meal because she assumed the general Tso’s was chicken and was not indicated anywhere on the menu that it is pork.

I ordered two shrimp egg rolls today, and it was good until I looked at the shrimp in the egg roll. This was my first time eating here and I can see that it isn’t a high-class restaurant, but I would at least think that they would devein their shrimp. It completely made me lose my appetite.
