Finally writing a review. We have been going here for years. It is our favorite Chinese take-out and we have found the food to be consistently high-quality. We enjoy the chicken meals – sweet & sour, almond, and general’s chicken combos. All come with rice and a tasty, and not greasy, egg roll. I also like that the broccoli served with some meals is very fresh and tasty. Delicious!

I have been coming to this place for almost 30 years – yep, before the fire. I have experienced nothing but great food and a friendly atmosphere. My favorite has always been the hot and sour soup – lots of shrimp and chicken with no yucky tofu! I started coming here in the late 80’s when I worked nearby. Now I drive out of my way for my favorite WooDipHar or Sesame chicken. I find the portions generous and the prices still reasonable. I’ve tried countless other Chinese restaurants but none as satisfying as this hidden gem. It’s worth an extra 15 mile drive to come back again and again.

I payed $57 for food here. The food was disgusting, the chicken had an uncooked consistency as well as the shrimp. The broccoli beef smelled and tasted like faucet water. I ended up throwing everything away.

I have eaten at this establishment many times and have been satisfied. Order take out tonight and the order was incorrect. When I called back to inform them, I was told that I dont know what I am talking about. Man on the phone was so unpleasant that I ended up bringing the food back. The “owner” commenced to tell me that “I have been here longer than you, 38 years, if you dont want my food, dont eat it! Dont give me a hard time!” Then told me that I would receive no refund because we had eaten from it. All this over chicken fried rice with no chicken.

Listen here and listen good. I had a severe MSG reaction from this place that put me in the ER for 1 day. I called the owner and he said “We don’t use MSG but tell us when you don’t want MSG” that’s not a typo. Stay away I never been sick from Chinese before.

The food here is alright but the prices are very high. I know of 2 other places both within 5-6 miles of this place that the lunch and dinner combos are half the cost and the food is MUCH better!!! I will not be back, I will not pay those prices simply because it is Northville. I will gladly go to either of the other 2 places and save a lot of money and have better food.
