I took my family there to eat. The host told us they were closed. The time was 905. The website and bar told us they close at 10pm. That was really horrible service. The other staff members even looked puzzled when the lady said they were closed.

The Margherita pizza was fantastic, the rest of the food was mediocre at best. The server was nice. Service was slow and inattentive. Our 6 meals came out one at a time over 20 minutes. Great potential, awful as it stands.

Not sure about the recent reviews, but don’t listen to them! Dominick provided wonderful service and great conversation while we dined in. We had the deep dish and the cheese was awesome! Great stringy-ness to dough ratio. Our daughter is picky about pizza cheese and loved it. The deep dish had a great crust, crispy bottom and fluffy top so we had the best of both worlds. Would definitely come again and order take out if we were local. The prices match a local joint and not a huge chain. Don’t listen to the Karens and enjoy a great little place while you are vacationing. Bonus…right next to a Publix and ABC ☺️

Terrible management, cook doesn’t care, inexperienced (but sweet), shy, young server. We went to dine-in for a pizza. Arrived inside, no one else seated yet. Ordered our pizza. Waiting a while, other dine-ins arrived and ordered from same server. After almost 50 minutes, the 3 other diners, arriving well after us, got their pizzas. Diners closest to our table asked us where our order was…another diner but not the manager or server. We asked our server where our pizza was. She checked with cook and found that it had been placed in a to-go box sitting out for at least 20 minutes. The cook then proceeded to put our pizza back in an oven to ‘reheat’ it?? Yuck!! Then the server came over to tell us it was burnt and we would be disappointed with it…..no other comment. Told her that’s unacceptable and said we were leaving. Upon leaving I had to go over to the (so-called) manager to mention our issue. He looked up at me with no concern and just said “sorry”. No offer to have another pizza made, or offer on the house, or any other apology. Amazing that this place is still around. We had been there before with average results, but this is certainly the last time.

New York City Pizza never disappoints. Whether we are ordering pizza, wings, subs or one of its fabulous dinner entrees, we know we will be having a fabulous meal. When we have friends over to watch a game or movie, NY City pizza is our go to place for takeout – especially since one our friends is gluten-free. Just as important as the quality of the food, the service is just as high quality.
