They messed up my order. I drove back to get my missing food then they gave me half of a sandwich and a free thigh to compensate. I never saw a Italian beef sandwich so empty.

Went at lunch time, around 130. Was not expecting to have to have mashed potatoes and gravy heated up in a microwave. The chicken was decent-sized, thigh and breast, however it had zero flavor., I mean zerooo. When I went to go eat the mashed potatoes it actually came out in chunks around the outsides. I ordered a fountain pop, Mountain Dew. I don’t know what’s wrong with their systems but it tasted like it had cherry infused. I was warned by my coworkers that the chicken was not good. But I had to try it because it was convenient. Will not be going back. Was also told the coleslaw was nasty by a couple of co-workers.

So the staff are solid, they took the order and I received the food quick. The issue is that I got very sick after having had takeout from this place. I haven’t had a cold, sickness in 3 years, and ordered food from here. The next day I started having loads of phlegm, then developed a bad cough… now obviously that doesn’t guarantee that’s what caused it, but I’ve been eating out for years around the area and have never gotten sick, I also work from home so I know I didn’t get it from some other place. So because of that I can’t in good faith give a high score, the food itself was a little bland but that isn’t to big of an issue. Eating out shouldn’t get you sick.

Ordered 9 piece wing zings and Italian Beef sub. Got home and didn’t have the sub. Went back to get the sub and they didn’t want to accommodate my trip to get my order. Actually was told by the I guess manager that they can’t give me anything because I came back from my dwelling place to retrieve my sandwich cause the BOSS is going to count the cheese cake. Poor Customer Service.

$15 for 3 piece dinner box includes your choice of pieces, 2 rolls, instant mashed potatoes and skimpy gravy, small cup of slaw and large soda. Place is dead and it took over 15 minutes to get my food. Best fried chicken I have ever had. I was here yesterday and came back today. 3 chairs to sit on, interior needs to be freshened up with new paint, etc. It needs a good cleaning. Staff are ok to deal with. It’s next to a busy party store with scruffy customers. Now, will I be back? We’ll see soon enough. Ok, just finished eating. Yesterday I bought one breast to test it out. Today I ordered the above I don’t know why. I didn’t eat all the potatoes. The rolls are soft and ok. The slaw is meh. The breasts were juicy and delicious. For me it’s better to just buy a couple pieces and I’ll be good. Plus the pictures on their website aren’t the reality of today’s visit. It’s expensive. One plus is it’s next to Horrock’s and they’re awesome. Read my review from yesterday.

A few pros and cons. Pros: the chicken wings were very good. Crispy and flavorful. Con: $5.50 for 4 wings that weren’t very large is a bit pricey. Would return if the price was lower. The Italian beef was okay -but not a lot of flavor; would not re-order.

I have eaten here a few times. The first couple of times I ate here the food was pretty decent. Coming around a few months later it was like eating cardboard. I once ordered delivery and it came one and a half hours later.
