Fuska or fuchka? I stumbled on this corner cafe in the Central Terminal neighborhood, and was introduced to an unexpected treat. These crisp shells filled with onions, chickpeas, and potato, drizzled with tamarind sauce were amazing. They sort of explode in your mouth when you crunch into them. Excellent masala chai to finish.

A gem of a place worth making the trip for. Of course, try the fuska (fuchka), and try the mango vharta as well. The masala chai hit the spot as well. Warm sweet men welcomed my visit and shared stories about mangoes from Bangladesh, and street food.

The world is a better place due to businesses like these. We are from Ohio and we came here to have an authentic style fuchka, which is not available where we are from. We reached 2 minutes before closing time, and they had packed everything for the night. Still, they opened it again, prepared us a platter of delicious, authentic fuchka along with smile and prayers! Really interesting little restaurant serving Bengali street food. The owner was very welcoming and he helpfully explained what all of the dishes were when we ordered. Food was freshly prepared and delicious. Would highly recommend visiting this unique place.
