We ordered ham sliders as an appetizer. They were fan tastic there was so much cheese and flavor built-in to them. We loved them. We then ordered a stuffed New York pizza and a order of stuffed shells. That pizza was phenomenal. It was probably one of the best pizzas I have ever ate in my life, the stuffed shells were OK. They were not my favorite and seem to be liking a little bit of flavor. However, I would eat that pizza every day the rest of my life easily. The lady at the front desk was super nice service was a little slow, but I feel like the girl was new.

Delicious pizza! This was our first time trying this place and we ordered the veggie pizza and the Chicago deep-dish style pizza. Both were top-notch and very much enjoyed. The pies had a great flavor. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

I used to really love this place and maybe it was just a bad night but when I walked in the AC was broken. No big deal. I placed an online order and it gave me an hour estimate for pick up which wasn’t too bad being Saturday night. When I walked in my order wasn’t ready. I walked back out to my car for 15 minutes came back in and still not ready. So many people getting their food before me. I told the lady my name again and the guy from the kitchen came up and brought some boxes up and sent me on my way. When I got home my pizza was cold. Not like cooled down but stone cold and seeing as I was “waiting for it to get out of the oven” it should’ve still been a little warm. The cheese was hardened to where it had separated in spots. The garlic knots weren’t cooked all the way and stilly gooey and doughy in the middle. The cookie pizza, I don’t even know what was going on with that cause it was just crust with like 6 chocolate chips on it. I never leave reviews because I am super understanding of restaurants but I’m just so disappointed in my food and especially at the price. It wasn’t cheap and we weren’t able to eat any of the food. Will not be coming back and super disappointed in what used to be our favorite local pizza joint.

Honestly, best pizza in the region. Like most people, I’ve gone to many pizza places of the course of my life and New York Pizza in Hartwell is an outlier. What differentiates them is taste you can only get from high-quality ingredients. It’s a trifecta of great homemade sauce, high quality cheese, and tasty crust. On vacation with the family at the lake, looking for a place to eat out with 12 people that was not to expensive. The food and service was good. But the pricing on the menu was not good at all. The king pizza says 17.00 on menu so we ordered a king meat lovers and when we went to pay it was 30.00 for that one pizza and drinks are 2.50 in a bottle so no refills. With 12 people and prices not what the menu said our meal was over 200.00 This is not ok.

Unbelievably good. The pizza tastes expensive but the prices are low. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. We came from Atlanta but found the best pizza we’ve EVER had. Please do yourself a favor and give these guys a visit, you’ll be grateful that you did!

This was my first time coming here since I only came by for nearby work, but it definitely won’t be my last. Hartwell has that small town feel, yet a lively and lovely downtown area. And this place is the hole-in-the-wall restaurant you want to visit. The staff was tremendously friendly. I came at a perfect time, not many guests. The only waitress at the time, Brittany, was very attentive to all her guests and yet spoke to and served you as if you were the only one there. I had the garlic knots and a small NY Style Stuffed Pizza. The food was great tasting although slightly overdone on the outside of the bread, the inside was still soft and warm, and the flavors tasted great. And they would considering they make all their food from scratch. For desert, NY Cheesecake which they get from a local bakery nearby… it was some of the best cheesecake I had! I couldn’t believe it was made there, I thought for sure it was imported. Go visit and plan to take 2 or 3 people to share your meal with or you will need to-go boxes. The amount of food you get for the price is a great bargain. I have leftovers for 2 meals, or my wife and daughter haha!
