First time going there.. the menu is a bit overwhelming, the manager guy was nice BUT the amount of hair I found on my items (pictured is just one of many) for the love of god, wear a hair net. Food didn’t have much of a taste & the steak idk what that is. Also, my shrimp burrito was 97% rice & the shrimp was disgusting. The pop was decent ♀️

We decided to try this place because we love mexican food big mistake. First we Orderd online the site said they were a little busy and it would take 30 min I arrived right on time and there was nobody there he unlocked the door for me and he never seen my order. He looked dirty and the windows were very dirty. The burrito was tasteless and mostly beans and rice. He gave me enough chez to dip 3 chips in we will never go back!!

Owner was nice and gave me some recommendations, however at the time I went the fryer was down. The beef taco was ok. Buritto was mostly rice and the shrimp in it was scarse and flavorless. Will probably not visit again.

I wasn’t expecting to get such a delicious burrito, you can really tell they make it all fresh. The owners were lovely hospitable people and the wife made my burrito personally since they had only just opened for the day. The portions were generous too. You can tell that they really care about their customers.

TERRIBLE!!! Decided to try the place for the first time, and it was awful!! We were the only people in the drive through, or inside, and it took over 25 minutes to get our food. First of all, I ordered a #5 off the menu and then was asked what a #5 was. So I explained what it said. After that I was asked to hold on, and the man didn’t come back for about 7 minutes, at that time I almost drove away. When we finally got to the window and paid $42.70 for three meals we had to wait another 15-20 minutes for the food. The food was absolutely terrible!! After just one bite, both of the people I was with Decided against eating anymore. Even the pop was flat! I am so disappointed in this place! There is a taco bell a couple minutes up the road, and I actually thought this would be a better choice. I have been wanting to come here for some time now, and I will never eat there again!!! I passed up so many other choices to give this place a try, and can honestly say I don’t think I have ever ate anywhere else, and been this disappointed!! The place is sketchy also, when I got my receipt nothing was itemized at all. In fact the only thing my receipt said was juice/water (nobody had either) with the total amount after it. I don’t understand how it is still in business.

It may be surprising to think that the best burgers I have ever eaten have come from a restaurant serving Mexican food, but New York Taco has the BEST burger. The milkshakes are also beyond incredible. Not only is the food delicious, but the owner, David, is very welcoming and kind to all his customers. I spent an evening with some friends at New York Taco sharing some nice conversation with David, and I couldn’t rate any restaurant higher. New York Taco is truly a Hillsdale great.
