This was my usual lunch stop. However, the dining room floor is slipperier than stepping onto a hockey rink. The dining room booth upholstery is torn on several booths. While the service is friendly and decent, the quality of the food and dining experience is slipping and needs correction.

I absolutely loved it! I got the spicy shrimp half sandwich and the pepperjack crawfish soup. I’m in love. I am pleasantly full and I could bring the kids. Husband liked his chicken bacon club, and the fresh brewed tea is perfect. Y’all just gotta let it set in your cup with ice for a minute like Mawmaw’s tea. I’m seriously telling all my friends.

Filth, nasty tables. Came in on a Saturday at 6 pm and it was relatively empty. Went up to the cashier to order and he seemed quiet confused when I was ordering, when I asked for cups for water. Went to sit down at the booths but all of them were filled with food, plates and trash. Asked the server to clean up one of them and he wiped down the table, when I went to sit, the booths still had food particles all over the seat and I had to ask him to come back again. Mind you they had 4-5 staff I saw out in the open so it’s not like they were under staffed. Other tables were piled with plates and cups. My spicy pizza came but it was just plain bread with cheese and undercooked shrimp and bell peppers even though the description stated red pepper flakes and other items I never saw. The shrimp felt very rubbery and not fully cooked and each slice had about only half a shrimp. Super disappointed. The water station didn’t have any lime left, the Tabasco sauces all the bottles had barely 3 drops left. The staff seem super incompetent and just overall lazy.

Excellent soup, salad, and sandwich menu…very unique choices. This place was recommended by a Delta pilot we sat next to at the airport. I had the French Bistro Steak and Mushroom soup, and pimiento cheese mac-n-cheese…both were delicious! If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely go back. Eat in or take out. Plenty of parking.

Portions are ridiculously small compared to the value Newks used to offer, the store was dirty, and their attention to assembling the food with all the ingredients listed is almost non-existent, and forget about asking for anything to be done special.
