Music was great but so loud you couldn’t talk if you were inside, even in the next room. Food (pulled pork plate) was just ok for me. Hubs loved his burnt Ends and brisket. Kids said the Enterprise Sandwich (no hot links– they were out) was good but not their favorite. There was a long line to be seated but only a handful of tables were full, so that didn’t make sense. We couldn’t start eating right away because our waitress kept forgetting silverware. Fried pickles were lightly breaded (borderline too lightly) but they were yummy. The weird polenta corn things in the salad tasted like fish. The smoked chicken in the salad had a beautiful smokiness to it but the pork did not. They were out of the chicken except for the salad which was a big disappointment once we knew how good it was. Cobbler wasn’t good.

Very good! Came in for lunch on a Sunday. I had the two meat plate with the half chicken and brisket burnt ends. I did have to send my burnt ends back from being cold, but the 2nd plate was perfect! Super good! My waitress Alya was super friendly and attentive. Prices were fine for the quality. I’d say for sure worth a stop if you’re looking for barbecue and in the area!

Me and my buddy ordered the three meat plate with burnt ends, brisket, pulled pork and sides were Mac and cheese and coke slaw. We were seated really fast, received our food in a quick and professional manner. Everything was DELICIOUS. I would definitely recommend stopping by even if you’re passing through town. If I was in town again I would definitely stop by.

This place has the best BBQ in town. Erica was a great server and the food had a great taste and excellent portions. From the brisket to the potato salad to the loaded macaroni. Hands down this was the best BBQ I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it.

Would loved to have tried the food so can’t review that today. But the service was so horrible. We waited for an hour and a half to end up just leaving because we were not waited on. Got there and said it was a 40 minute wait. But there was no one coming in behind us and only 4 people in front, the wait was probably a bit less in reality. Got a drink and sat outside. (This was their saving grace) An hour rolls around and there’s no text or anything, the restaurant is almost empty at this point, so we check and the girl wrote our number down wrong even after double checking. She says she’ll get us menus right away. 10 minutes later we get seated with menus, she said she would be right back and knew we were there waiting. She just left and kept checking peoples tickets out instead of just putting our order in. 10 more minutes later we left. Just horrible prioritization and time management here. We overheard another group that was also waiting for an hour before getting up to check what was wrong and getting menus, same waitress too. So it seems like a reoccurring issue unfortunately. Seems like the food is good based on other reviews, just be aware of inevitable mixups and super long waits. Bummer.

I really like the burnt ends. Although 2 of the 4 cubes were tough like jerky. Tasted so good.

This was absolutely a delicious experience. The food was incredible. My partner loved his beer, he got a scotch ale. I got the 3 meat combo plate, I got the brisket, hot link and pulled pork. The brisket was soooo good, definitely the best one. The Mac and cheese was good my only complaint was it wasn’t hot. The fried okra was some of the best I’ve had. My partner got the fried catfish. He loved it. Said it was very flavorful. Our waiter was so nice and attentive. Constantly refilling my water and checking on us. This will definitely be a go to for excellent beer and BBQ. The vibe was really chill and they had great music playing. There is also a stage for live music. We’ll definitely go on a night they have that.

I visited Nexus Brewery & Smokehouse on Broadway for the first time this past Sunday afternoon for a takeout order of Prime Brisket and a side. I sampled the potato salad and the coleslaw. The potato salad was not to my taste, too peppery. I chose the coleslaw, even though I have to say it was more like a cabbage salad, than coleslaw. The pieces were very large. I had to re-chop it when I got home.
