This restaurant is a nice addition to Sedalia! We have only been a couple of times and also ordered 1 take out platter-but all have been beautiful and delicious. We’ve only tried a few of the appetizers and 6-8 different rolls but have enjoyed them all. My favorite is the Sunny Roll. We always order enough to take home for later

Overall great experience. The restaurant wasn’t open when I moved to FL in April so I had to try it out on this trip back. This used to be the old Denny’s that had a complete remodel and wow. The atmosphere was relaxed, quiet, and gave you a high end restaurant experience. I was greeted by a friendly hostess to a comfortable new booth. The menu was thick and definitely gave the vibe of a classy restaurant. The service was prompt, fast, and kind. Appetizers were the crab rangoons and 6 pc fresh sashimi (tuna, yellow tail, albacore tuna, and salmon). The sashimi was very fresh and full of flavor. For the first round we ordered the Out of control roll, American Dream Roll, Crunch Roll, and Geisha. Second round was the Philly roll and Rock N Roll.

Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. They overhauled the entire building (previously Denny’s). You wouldn’t even recognize was it was before. This is a great place for Japanese food especially living in the Midwest. Definitely will be returning.

Food was great, however the wait was horrible. We ordered hibachi and got our food at the same time as the table beside us, who got there about 30 minutes after we did. Also it took 45 minutes for them to even get our order, time management is definitely a problem. Hopefully they will get it together. Everything was nicely cooked but the salad and the soup were gross.

SO FANCY!!! I loved it here, the employees are sooo nice and the food was absolutely delicious (without being really expensive). I finally have a place in Sedalia to dress nice just to eat somewhere pretty. This whole experience is incredibly aesthetically pleasing. Great for a date. 100/10 would recommend! (All the pictures are after I ate some because I just couldn’t resist lol)

Food was excellent. Presentation was excellent. Prices aren’t bad. I had miso soup, vegetable and rainbow rolls, but there were a lot more I wanted to try. I could have made a meal out of the appetizers.

Ni-Kuni is an amazing addition to Sedalia! Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service, and delicious food makes this a must do for any occasion. We will be back soon and hope to get Reno as a waiter again because he was so nice and truly cared about our experience. 10/10 would recommend Ni-Kuni!

I came here with my fiancé and we loved our food! I ordered the chicken fried rice, which had amazing flavor. He ordered the fried Broadway roll, it was a large portion for a great price. The restaurant is very classy and great for date night! Service was good!
