We ate and tipped 15%. The waitress chased us to our car asking for more tip. It’s ridiculous to do that at a restaurant where you have to cook your own meal and also get up to get your own protein to cook. I think they hire illegally so the servers only make money off tip as they are not paying them. I’ve reported them to Immigration for employee investigation. There is human trafficking happening with their staff.

I know this place well, it was a Chinese pancake restaurant before, and always buy the very good salted duck at Galleria Market. I visited this hot pot twice, once in June 2019 and another in November 2021.

I thought this place was pretty good. We went for all you can eat and there’s several selections of stuff. Five meats if you get the A option (which we got and was good enough, but it seems like we had to choose option B for weekend?), skewers for the hot pot was included along with the round bowls for veggies and the like. The colored plates were extra charge which we didn’t touch and didn’t need to since the other stuff was plentiful to choose from already. Meat skewers could have more pieces than just one per stick. They got a sauce bar and one of those food server robots. Their spicy soup side can be mild. It will get a bit more spicy when kept boiling. The spicy level was still tolerable for me by the end. Dessert not included for the all you can eat, shame though. Would’ve been nice. Other than that, food quality was good to decent and would come back again.

I went there for the second time, since they changed to ayce the food quality became cheap and extra orders are expensive, we came at 3:30Pm on Sunday. With 5 adults, they asked us to sit on the 4 seat table. I asked them if we can sit in the bigger table, the waitress said NO, it’s only for 6+. There was no others customer at the time. Probably they not welcome us, so we decide to leave. It’s my last time go to that restaurant again.

I recommend this restaurant to every meat lover! They have a quiet place, quick service, tasty flavor and plenty of food choices. Here is perfect for family, dating and friends, not good for business. The parking lot is closed to the access. Maybe you can check-in on WeChat to shorten the waiting time, they are really busy every night!

A friend from Sichuan highly recommend this place. it was quite packed when we got there around 10:30pm. The taste was authentic, food ingredients were fresh and clean. There were even old time beverages, the soy milk, which was essential for eating hot food. The only thing I would like to see improvement is the bathroom. there is only one toilet in ladies room and you have to wait for very long to use it!

The broth and meat is ok, but you can find better hot pots in LA area. The fact that they use wood stick for one piece of meat is not enviromental friendly. I wish they could use recyclable or reusable stick. Worth a shot, but not coming back.
