The vibe was great and the staff was awesome! I grabbed a cold beer while I waited for our to go order, ice cold! The pizza shop salad was delicious and the meatball appetizer was great too! We were not big fans of the bruschetta margherita pizza, though. The flavor was fine, just nothing phenomenal. It needed big basil leaves and whole slices of tomatoes along with some sliced mozzarella. We will definitely be back, but are gonna try the pepperoni pizza next time! Trivia night sounds fun, too! Great neighborhood joint!

In this sort of currently vacant + under renovation shopping plaza, you will find a wonderful pizza place. They have good sandwiches, salad, and some really good specialty pizzas. I’ve had take out four times, and what impressed me the most is two of those times the owner came out of the kitchen and told me thank you for my order. That means a lot to me nowadays! The staff was always super friendly and helpful. I see this becoming a neighborhood, favorite.

Wow, think I found my favorite pizza in the DTSP area. We ordered the traditional NY style pie with meatballs and mushrooms. Crust was crunchy and chewy like the best of them with a nice flavor you’d expect from NY style. They use a Savory sauce which is a must as sweeter sauces ruin a good pie for me. We did take out and the pie was ready as we walked in. Service was very prompt. The restaurant seemed nice with a few large tables and a bunch of smaller 4 and 2 tops. Definitely going back for another try.

We always have Nicko’s delivered and they hit it out of the park every time! We love the chicken philly and the red white & meatball pizza. Add the pepper relish if your a fan of spicy. Their prices match the quality. Worth every penny! it’s all made from scratch, We LOVE this spot & you will too.

Meatball pizza is awesome with the ricotta swirls. Loaded Philly sandwich is excellent, as are the other pies. Staff is friendly. Only complaint is the lighting was too bright at the bar… Needs a dimmer

It’s a solid pie. I got a red and white meatball pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza. Both were good. But I like my pizza on the crispier side. I got one of the pies well done. It was nice and crispy on the bottom, but not overly crispy. I wish I had gotten the other pie well done as well. I just wish there were more meatballs on the meatball pizza. I’ve had other meatball pies with more meat. I’m typically not a buffalo chicken type of guy, but my gf likes it and I ended up enjoying it as well.

This place is outstanding. Great prices. Lots of food for the money. I would definitely recommend the meat lovers pizza and this place to others. My only suggestion is it was a little warm and the AC needs to work a little harder. A great value for your dollar and Amber and the staff were very friendly and fast.

As a former resident of New York, I’m a little particular about my pizza, and I will tell you honestly, this pizza is awesome. Rolled in with my homies last night on a whim, asked about a signature pie, and we were all three of us impressed. We got a large, red and white meatball pizza; presentation: awesome! They hand make their own meatballs here; none of that previously frozen, nitrate saturated BS, and they are delicious. The crust, and this is where I’m particularly picky, was excellent. So many pizzarias in Florida either make the crust too bland, or the texture is like a cracker, or there’s some poopoo John’s place that gives you way too thick of a crust. Nicko’s was perfect. Goldilocks. Flavorful, great texture, not paper thin but not too thick. Literally just right. Huge selection of beverages to choose from, great atmosphere, great location to downtown St.Pete, & friendly and patient staff. I am looking forward to my next visit and exploring more of the menu. If you’re near downtown and craving pizza, head here!
