One of the best breakfast places in Clawson! Atmosphere is great Service is nice and friendly! And food is delicious!! Their salad with pink dressing is a must!! Eggs Benedict were great with hash-browns! And also, they filmed the Ides of March in here, so if you’d like, you can ask to be seated at the table that was in the film ️

I don’t have enough GREAT words to describe our visit to Nick’s today. My daughter, granddaughter, and I stopped for lunch, and what a wonderful experience it was. The restaurant was busy. However, they had a way of making us feel like we were the only customers there. I’m sure everyone else felt that as well. The wait staff all worked together, making everyone feel welcome and accommodated. Our food was excellent! Very large portions for the price. The soup was homemade, the salads were crisp and fresh, the food came hot, and it was very well prepared, not just thrown on a plate. Everyone went above and beyond. For example, my granddaughter just turned one this week. We ordered her a small fruit plate. Instead of sending out a plate of sliced fruit, some kind soul took the time to dice her fruit in little bite-sized pieces perfect for a 1 year old. (see picture) It was this level of detail and attentiveness that makes me want to give Nick’s a 20 star review. The restaurant was very clean the food very good but it is Nick and his staff that make this place rise above others. We did not feel like customers at Nick’s Country Oven. We felt like guests at Nick’s home, and like we had known him and his staff for years. I highly HIGHLY recommend Nick’s.

I’ve been a Nick’s customer for over a year and have always been delighted with their extensive menu and specials, tasty homemade food and friendly service. My social club often chooses to end up at Nick’s after events and when 5-20 people show up (we call ahead of time). Always the ordering is swift, food hot and delicious and service efficient. Portions are large and prices are more than fair. We really do enjoy the comfortable atmosphere too. The friendly owners and staff are always very accommodating.

The atmosphere is modern and welcoming with quaint decor yet small and cozy like a home-town coney. The ownership and staff put a lot of care in every step from a clean table to a well thought dish. Our table ordered the Greek Omelet with fresh Spinach added and a Banana Nut Waffle.

I come here a lot on my breaks working in the area. The food is always nice, and the girls are always wonderful. Dining by yourself is in the 10-15 dollar range. With two, I could see it getting up to 20, a little more. Very fair prices considering prices to buy product these days, and I know it, since I work at a restaurant myself on the weekends, the prices of eggs especially are crazy.
