Nice little hidden place, karaoke on Friday nights is fun. Food is decent, and priced right. My fiance got an amazing soft shell crab sandwich, and the oysters tasted amazing. The only negative was the icy cocktail sauce, as they probably keep the little cups on ice. We ordered 6 blue point and 6 Chincoteague and got 7 of each!

Subpar food and even worse service. It took 10 minutes for the server to bring the menus. After order was placed it took 20 minutes to bring one cup of soup, then another 20 minutes to bring rest of the food. The salmon was bitter and dry, took another 15 minutes for the server to come and check on our table and take the salmon back. Rest of the food was mediocre at best. Had to walk to the bar to ask for a check. Place was not busy at all.

My spouse and I got trapped in a hailstorm outside, and these WONDERFUL people saw us, helped us get dry, and gave us a delicious cup of coffee. I cannot recommend this place enough, truly beautiful people work here! The food and drinks are amazing as well!

Nick’s is the best kept secret! It is located next to the OTB in the Timonium State Fairgrounds. The crab corn chowder is thick & chocked full of crab. Best $8 I have ever spent on chowder. And the fried oysters were superb! Bet or just watch the ponies on TVs located all around the restaurant. Or walk thru a door to the OTB. Security has your back! Where else can you eat in peace & know you are safe? Give it a try today!

First time visiting Nick’s Grandstand Grill. Our server was very friendly and welcoming and was helpful in our food Choice. We decided to start with bloody Mary’s and they were delicious! She gave us a rundown of the days specials and we chose the crab balls and meatball sliders. I must say that I didn’t have high expectations because I’m usually very critical, as, I am a chef at another restaurant, but, I was blown away by the crab balls. They were incredible! There were 8 of them for only $6. Just the right amount of breading and full of lump crab. Melted in my mouth! The meatball sliders were ok. We will definitely be returning soon to try some other items on what looks to be a great menu! Keep it up guys!

The new restaurant operator has a very good menu, if anyone liked the original Nicks Fish House & Nicks Inner Harbor Seafood will like & enjoy their latest venture, Nicks Grandstand Grille & Crab house, in the Grandstand @ The Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium.
