Beautiful day deserves a beautiful lunch so my friend and I trekked to nick’s. We shared a sandwich: turkey and mortadella and Swiss cheese on a delish Dutch crunch. Good sized, $12.50. We shared a slice of pizza – fantastic crust . Would love it to be a wee bit bigger but it was priced at $3.85 so reflects. There were some YUMMY LOOKING sweets, but I already had to restrain myself. Service was friendly, food came quickly. We sat outside under a table with an umbrella and life was good!

Nick’s is a vital fixture in the local food scene for me! Every item I’ve tried has been a hit, no misses: the specialty slices, chocolate chip cookies, cheesecake, deli sandwiches, focaccia, sourdough, garlic and cheese pull apart… I could go on. My only regret is not taking more photos.

Excellent bagels! The onion bagel was very good: great bite and chew. It’s remarkable for a pizza place. Also, there’s no long line. The Philly brand cream cheese is in a small container.

The food here is great. There is no table service and not a great way for staff to tell you the food is ready. People in the US do not understand the concept of Standing in Line. I see it a lot. It was a bit pronounced here. The staff were pleasant. We sat outside in what is a fenced off parking lot, with a lot of very loud traffic. And it was windy. Again the food is great. There is no atmosphere.

The fresh baked goods in the morning are amazing. I had the bacon and cheddar scone and it might be the best I’ve had. I went back and had pizza for lunch; it’s not my favorite. I like a crust that stands proud, not droopy so you must fold it. A little on the greasy side. You might like it, but I’m from Chicago…

Nice local pizza joint with full pizzas or by-the-slice options. We ordered pepperoni, corn & pasilla, and the roasted roma pizza by the slice. Great flavors in both the toppings and the crust, but a little too greasy for my liking. Next time I’ll order a whole pizza fresh from the oven, but crust lovers will enjoy this spot.
