I only have good things to say about this place. I mean, think about it, it’s a totally French place place that’s not in France. It represents in the legit fashion; I’ve had French friends and whatnot enjoy coming there cuz it reminds them of home. Is it perfect? Well, no. It is a bit expensive but you can’t deny that they don’t serve you substandard fair and that doesn’t mean nothing. I enjoy eating inside for the dark cozy feel it has. It truly represents something; do you want some french cheese or some other type of French stuff? They usually have it- are they polite? Well, yes. Can you get alcohol there? Well, yes you can. What is there not to like but please, don’t go mobbing there; don’t spoil a nice place.

Come hungry…..Leave hungry. Portion control alert! When you pay $14 for a sandwich and leave starving something isn’t right. Check out the photo – caprese sandwich has four minuscule mozzarella balls and some pretty unripe tomatoes. Service anemic and rude and other reviews seem to agree – this place is a rip off and Nicole is spinning in her urn somewhere in disgust.

Their food is light not heavy and very suitable for summer or quick bites. Easy to park as well. I had crepes, quiche, etc.

This is such a nice spot for a late lunch and I loved that they had a grocery selection for items that aren’t easily found in American stores. The sandwiches are a little expensive for their size/toppings, but the baguettes are so tasty. It’s on a quiet street too so you feel a little bit of the French vibe sitting on the sidewalk.

Ordered 3 ham and butter sandwiches yesterday for 13.00 each. Total rip off. There was 1 skinny slice of ham on huge roll with butter.who puts 1 slice of ham on a sandwich? Not worth the price. Not worth even half the price

Great environment, coffee and perfect pasties. Super friendly people…. a bit pricey, but they have a good specialty cheese market with some flavors uniquely their own. A little cheese and wine, and Nicole’s makes a simple life quite special. South Pasadena Museum is right next door. The neighborhood is a wonderful place to stroll and explore nearby the flavors of old California after you’ve enjoyed a leisurely cup of perfect coffee and pastry.

went in there 9a weekdays to get a sandwich minding my own business, got immediately verbally assaulted by some older lady that appeared homeless/having mental problems, employees were just watching, felt very uncomfortable and left

Great French bistro. Love their sandwiches. Pastries are amazingly good. Pear tart is my favorite. Good quality products. Prices are a bit steep but you are getting great quality. Wines, cheeses, spices, and other french goods. And excellent service.
