The hamburger steak with onions and gravy are the absolute bomb! So tender and juicy. My daughter had the fried chicken and she ate everything on that plate. The collared greens were spot on as well. We actually got a double order of collard greens and lima beans to go… That’s how great this food is! We will definitely be back!

Food is always good. The atmosphere feels like you’re in your mothers kitchen with a group of friends. The place is a little run down but clean after eating there you will not care. There is one thing that I didn’t like,upon entering the restaurant there is no one to greet or seat you there is no sign to seat your self I waited while the waiters went about there work saying nothing to me. Finally a customer told me you seat your self.

The food was decent. Not great, not awful. The main problem here is the service! This was our first time here. Another customer had to tell us we could sit down wherever. Then we waited over 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Another 30 for biscuits and gravy. They seemed to have plenty of help. But they weren’t organized at all. Maybe no training? Just hire them Anna’s let them figure it out themselves. We probably won’t be back. Only 5 minutes from our new home too. How sad for us all.

I was disappointed in the service of my takeout. First they didn’t know the order existed then after I payed I was asked to pay again. I beleive they need better counter help. Or people who know what they’re doing. The one waitress was snobby I was taught to treat the janitor like the president you never know who is who.

I’ve been craving club sandwiches that are cut into triangles. They remind me of early childhood days, so I guess I needed the memory of my mom and I, going to the little diner in the McCrory’s store back home. Moving on… Nicole’s rocked it. As you can see the sandwich was thick. I have a big mouth, but had to break it down some to fit. it was delicious and will definitely be back.

Walked in the door and they spoke and told me to sit where i like. They wait staff was standing around so I figured since they were bored id get service right away. I was wrong. Waited almost 15 mins and I still didn’t get any other acknowledgement that I was there other than me walking into the door. Food is decent most times. Not good enough to get ignored.

Your friendly neighborhood diner where the staff makes you feel welcome; the prices are good; and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the pork chops, collard greens, and mashed potatoes. And don’t forget to order some peach cobbler if they haven’t sold out!
