Niema’s is the place to be if you’re looking for something unique and high quality. Every dish had it’s own profile, the beefiness of the Oxtail, spice medley in the wings and the great sweetness in the pudding that makes you keep going back for another bite. It was all so great.

Niema’s food is truly an experience. I’ve tried multiple dishes and have not once been disappointed. The dishes are unique and a must try for all food lovers. The egusi is like nothing I’ve ever tasted before, and so delicious!! It’s not often I find something in this area that introduces me to an entirely new flavor. This place is a gem that I can’t recommend enough. To top it off, the entire staff is incredibly kind and service is excellent.

Don’t sleep on Niema’s Cookery Corner Shv in Sunshine Health Foods! Our favorites were the Oxtail Stew, the plantains, the fried creen tomatos, and the sweet potato fries, but it was all a delicious taste of West Africa. The Okra stew and fufu were the most unusual to the palate, but very tasty. If you’ve never had West African food, expect to work around bones. It’s worth it! We also tried a ginger/carrot/pineapple juice drink that was SO refreshing! The icing on the cake was the friendly hospitality of the lovely owner. Expand your horizons and give them a try! They are open until 7:00.

Ordered from their food truck at the farmer’s market today! Glad we stopped to try them out. Jerk Mac and cheese and jerk rice was delicious. Owner was super nice. Overall great experience. Can’t wait to try their fufu and other dishes!

I have never tasted the food but I love egusi and fufu..I called in to place a pick up order and they stated they only do walk in orders such a disadvantage for people who get off late and actually want the food.. just a FYI for people who dont have time to go in and wait ! Hopefully I’ll have enough time to go in and try one day !

I have tried several items on the menu. The Fufu with peanut butter soup is my favorite. The oxtail, short ribs, and jerk chicken mac & cheese were all very good. The owner was very nice and helpful. It’s located inside of a health food store, but there are tables to sit in and eat if you want to. My only complaint is that it is pricey, so I can’t go as often as I would like.

When I first came up to the restaurant I was encouraged that the food and customer service was going to to be amazing. I quickly realized It was not. They were going to allow me to leave missing my $20 meal behind. I also noticed it is difficult to just see a price for anything to eat. She will be very eager to ask if you want to add or you should try whatever meal. She then asked her staff to start making the meal before I even knew the price. Almost $200 later, I paid for it but I will not returning. I don’t like sneaky people trying to get over. While I waited for the order I noticed others mentioned how the price changes and to check my receipt for the right charge in the reviews. Thats how I found out I was missing a meal. I then asked for prices for other workers and she said the prices will change when she get her food truck put this seems to me a way to never post prices and price what she wants when ever she wants so the customer never knows what there paying for. I’m sure she’ll make a excuse to this post but sneaky is sneaky and 99% of businesses post prices not spring it on there customers after the Cheif gives orders to cook the meal. This is not a business of integrity.

Food was good, but it was a little pricey. Forgot the silverware / plastic ware, no utensils to eat with. It’s all take out here, so no excuse for this. Went by around 1pm on a Thursday. Only one other person in parking lot, so not crowded. I had the “chef’s special” which was braised ox tails (beef) over rice with side items sautéed cabbage (with a hint of cardamom) and honeyed plantains. Plantains are like a starchy banana. Green they cook more like a potato, ripe / yellow they are a firm banana you can cook with. I enjoyed the food. Cost $24.
