Nifty Fifties is a family-run sandwich shop located in North Syracuse. New owners Joe and Theresa Basla took over in 2021. We offer hot and cold sandwiches along with fryer foods. We have weekly specials like our homemade Chicken Riggies and Joe’s homemade Italian sausage. Our hot weekly special is our Fish Fridays, which features a fried haddock sandwich or dinner and a mixed seafood platter. We thrive on providing homemade food, large portions, competitive prices, and prompt and friendly service.

Great sandwiches at a great price. The half sandwiches are more than enough to fill you, and a large order of fries is plenty for two. Very friendly staff. The Sinatra sandwich was delicious. We will be returning.

Itty bitty hole in the wall stuffed with delicious flavor. Ordered a full Reuben to share with my husband. They kindly split it on two plates for us! Side of a 12oz homemade mac and cheese and a couple Hoffman hotdogs for the kids. All the bread comes from Geddes bakery in N. Syracuse!

I was very disappointed this time. I had a neutron bomb on a sub roll and the roll was awful. Very stale. I tossed most of it. It is supposed to come with lettuce but I could find little. I asked for onions but there were none. But the sub roll was terrible.

Cute place. Burger was undercooked though. Husbands cold sandwich was made before they even made my burger so awkward with him waiting 10 minutes with his food on the table before I got mine. They seem very unorganized here,Ike they are tripping over one another to make the orders.
