We walked in and were seated at a table, it wasn’t busy, we asked to be moved to a booth which after a few minutes we were granted. The shake was unbelievably good, one of the best I’ve had in a while. The chili burger and fries weren’t bad. Mary was our server. 5 minutes after we got our food, she asks if we want a to go box and we replied no as we had just got our meal. We felt like she was rushing us from the moment we sat down. She came back with our tab and asked if we wanted anything else, I asked for another coke since we were still eating our meal, she crumpled up the tab and turned around and brought another coke. We scarfed the rest of our meal down, paid and left. I would say the shakes are great, food is ok, service is below standard. Won’t be coming back

Wow! It’s been years since I had a chance to go to a Nifty Fifty’s. The last time I was there was in 1996 in South Philly. I have to say, the food is still just as delicious as it was back then. I ordered the mushroom cheesesteak, cheese fries and a Banana Blitz malt. They made a mistake and made me a chicken cheesesteak instead, but I’m glad I didn’t send it back. It was one of the better chicken cheesesteaks I have ever had. Nice flavor and very tender. My granddaughter had the chicken cutlet sandwich and cheese fries. She has a coconut milkshake. She was so happy. She couldn’t wait to get home to eat her leftovers. My wife had a bacon cheeseburger and an order of onion rings. She loved it. She kept raving about the onion ring sauce. This was her first time there. We were celebrating her birthday which was fell on Mother’s Day this year. We had Dell as our server and he was great. A very polite and friendly guy. He made sure we didn’t want for nothing. Thanks Dell!! Needless to say, I am recommending this location. Great music, service and food! How can you beat that?

I have been so excited about getting a Nifty Fifty’s in our town. I just went and it did not disappoint ! Service was friendly and they moved the line quickly. The chicken fingers were delicious and they have a really great honey mustard. The peanut butter candy cake milkshake was bomb!

Service is terrible! Drive the extra distance to the Ridley location. Sunday night (8:30pm) with only about half the tables full. Missed one of the four drink orders but corrected it quickly. Fries and two entrees came out. Twenty minutes passed but still hadn’t received two of our entrees. Thought it was just a slower cook time. Tried three times to get our server’s attention (including 5+ minutes waving my hand in the air with two other servers making eye contact with me and not doing anything). Finally got another staff member to get the manager. Server just “forgot” to put the orders in for myself and my daughter. No apologies from the server or the manager. I had to ask for an explanation! (I asked because I wanted to know if it was a kitchen issue. She just said “I thought I had put it in but I didn’t.”)

I wanted to celebrate an amazing grade my Son got on a math test. I asked him where he wanted to go. He said Nifty Fifty’s. My wife and I took him there around 6PM Sunday the 21st. We walked in and there was maybe 1 or 2 other small groups waiting. There was a sign that asked us to please wait to be seated. So we waited. At no time did an employee come over to communicate how long of a wait or take our names. No one even made eye contact. Another family came in, walked to the counter where pick-up orders were being handed out and gave their name. The employee who took their name didn’t even ask anyone else who was waiting before them if they had given their name. We walked out. I was furious and lost my appetite. My Son was quite upset and his reward meal ruined due to a severe lack of customer service. I called the restaurant from the parking lot and asked to speak to a manager. I talked to Nick. He apologized, but his solution was for us to come back in a get seated immediately. I declined because sitting us in front of others who were waiting even longer was not a solution and felt very wrong. To be honest, at that point there wasn’t a solution. Management should have procedures in place that focus on customer service. It was clear tonight that there are none of those in place.

Ordered to go from here yesterday for dinner, and I can’t believe I’ve never tried this place before. Their burgers are fantastic and the cheese fries are amazing! I love “diner-like” restaurants–I definitely found my new burger craving go-to place . Next time I’ll have to try one of their shakes!

We and my friend stopped in to eat, they asked whether we wanted a both or table we said both ,they sat us in the back ,took a long time preparing our food. We both ordered burgers, fries and chicken fingers and nuggets, Later we both got sick, my friend threw up, I had diarrhea all night long, never again will I eat there.

In the past, we have gone to the Folsom location. This was our first visit here and I just want to say my entire family really enjoyed the meal! We arrived shortly after 4 pm to avoid the rush and service was excellent. We will be back.
