On my mission to try every Chinese place in town I ordered the lunch special General Tao’s today. The portion was slightly smaller than many of the other places around town, but the price was about the same. The chicken was good – having a crispness, but not being chewy. A little lighter on sauce than I prefer. I didn’t enjoy the rice quite as much as some places, but I liked the egg roll! Timely service, but not the “best Chinese cuisine.”

I was in town on business starving trying to find a great place to eat and by chance I found this place. Thank God I did, this place has great food at reasonable prices, friendly staff and a great cook. Highly recommend!

We order here frequently. They are very consistent. It is quite rare to get something that is cooked incorrectly or differently than normal. Their meats are always tender and their shrimp are always crisp. It’s clearly geared towards takeout and I think it is nice that it is family-run and the kids are helping out. We haven’t tried much of their very broad menu but what we have had has been delicious and worth ordering again many times. Many of the one star reviews seem either fake or from ridiculously petty people. Definitely worth your time. Out portions have always been large, very well-packaged and delivered quickly. Pick-up orders have been the same, quick and consistent.

Good service and a large choice to pick from on the menu. Not a lot of variance in flavours between the dishes though. The garlic shrimp was my favourite because it was very fresh. The cooking time was efficient, ordering ahead of time would be recommed.

We have ordered take out from Nihao several times in the past and food was good. Last night was very different. The General Tso chicken sauce was nondescript and chicken coating was soggy. The fried rice was not fried rice—-more like colored regular rice. The fried noodles were puffy and stale—-not flat and crispy. What a disappointment! The egg drop soup, however, was good! Will most likely not go there again.

Ordered shrimp chow mein, got some sort of bland shrimp and veggies with poorly cooked rice. Called to report the error and the lady that answered the phone tried to tell me that chow mein is a rice dish. It’s nit. Won’t go back, would recommend going elsewhere

This place is great. I don’t know why it has such bad reviews. I typically try to stay with places that are at about four stars, I gave his place to shot because it’s 3 1/2 stars and really close to my work. The food was fantastic. Fried stuff was very crunchy, the noodles were very flavorful, spicy food was very spicy. I probably order from here once a week now. They have healthy options and really good prices.

Several years ago we moved here from the midwest and have been looking for a Chinese restaurant that’s comparable to the best Chinese restaurant in the world that’s located there. After many attempts, we FINALLY found Nihao’s. Our food was delivered hot and delicious. Fresh snow peas, broccili and mushrooms made my moo-goo-gai-pan a treat! We will definitely be back!!! Everything was absolutely delicious!! Thank you!!
