It was quite a disappointing experience, definitely not coming back. I was in the mood for sushi so I suggested this place to my boyfriend before the movie… We had about 40 minutes before the showtime, there were only 2 customers in front of us. We ordered miso soup, beef udon, shrimp dumplings, and salmon PokeBall. It took over 35 minutes to get this! We were both starving at that point, and had about 5 minutes left to eat in order not to miss the movie. There were barely any Salmon in the PokeBall. Most of it was chopped lettuce, rice, some mayo dressing and covered with weird crunchy crumbled stuff that made my stomach really upset. It looked nothing like the photo they advertised on the display. Both of us had discomfort in our stomachs for few hours after we left. I would not recommend this place to anyone unfortunately. I ordered a bento online to pick up. The bento was very complete with a good amount of rice and protein, and a lot of sides (mostly vegetables) that complemented the meal very well. Also interesting than they have a lot of Japanese groceries (drinks, dessert and snacks) that you can conveniently purchase while there.

I loved visiting this establishment every wknd after work from 2011-2015 until I moved to Texas. When I returned to the east coast several years later, I really enjoyed visiting here still as the food was always fresh, made to order, and reasonably priced. Plus the staff was always very nice. I had not visited until after the pandemic recently this past October 4th and it nearly sent me to the hospital.

This place used to be alright a few years ago. My last 3 visits (yes I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt) have been terrible. The sushi is just terrible. It’s mostly rice with laughable portions of fish. Sad to say, this is probably my last visit.

Very Nice Sushi place. Almost everything on the menu is $9.99. They give you alot of food. I got the beef bowl. Lot of rice with a good amount of beef on top. The sauce was sweet. Not much room to sit down inside. The lady is not that bad. Everyone is saying she is rude. If you want rude, check out that Tokyo Buffet next door.
