Nina May is amazing at hosting private events! My fiancé and I had our engagement party at the restaurant and it was a magical evening. The food, atmosphere, and entire team were incredible. We had a number of guests with dietary restrictions and the team went out of the way to accommodate them. Everything was seamless and we can’t thank them enough!

Very good food in a great neighborhood location. Pleasant service. Cod fritters, trout, and asparagus were excellent. The charges cabbage was disappointing mainly because of the sauce that was added that made the cabbage soggy and gave it a strange flavor. The clams and sausage were ok but not great. Carrot cake was also ok. Was it made in house? Probably not.

I came all the way from NYC and I will say that this restaurant satisfied big city families like us. I recommend eating here. Best dishes are heirloom tomato salad and pork chops. I will be back next time with more people.

We had such a great time at dinner here. I highly recommend the seasonal tasting menu, it was such a unique experience! Cocktails are stunning as well, and reasonable prices. The only disappointment was the ‘main’ course of the tasting menu, which was pastrami and was the only plate that seemed pretty standard/didn’t have some fun twist

Food was nothing more than Average. I had high expectations of the place and we went to try this weekend brunch.

Awesome service with delicious and well priced food. We had the chef’s choice along with the ribeye and prosciutto, was definitely more than enough for 3 people. If you manage to grab a seat outside during sunset and nice weather, it makes the experience extra special!

Great staff and service. Food is also at an elevated level. The drinks are fantastic too. Both the cocktails and the mocktails. Love the beet cocktail and the cucumber non alcoholic drink. Patio is large with comfy couches and chairs. There is an open part and a fully covered part. Good for gatherings. The set tasting menu at 55 bucks per person is a really good deal but we went a la carte. The Parker House rolls with the butter topped with crispy chicken skin crackling…. OMG. The corn cavatella was another top dish. Don’t get the clams. The cacio e pepe agnolotti also fantastico. Tomato salad also good. Rockfish also good. But the cacio e Pepe dis, the Parker house rolls, and the corn dish are all must gets. Avoid the clams and the margarita. As I mentioned, service is great. I left my credi card and they called ti say that they had it. Another good reason to make a reservation. Desserts are okay except for the carrot cake which is way too wet. Moist is good but wet is claggy.

We went in for a Saturday brunch. There were four of us. We ordered chefs menu for two, cheese omelette, and cacio de Pepe. Food was great, cocktails (jalapeño mezcal) were great, service was excellent!

We had dinner here last night with a few friends, everybody ordered different things so got to try a lot from the menu. Everything was fresh, delicious and a little unexpected. Most of the items on the menu are dishes you’ve probably had many times before, but this place put an elevated and unusual spin on classics. We loved the tortellini and trout, and our friends said the ribeye was delicious. Service was really friendly and attentive, just the right balance of being hands on without being overbearing. Atmosphere is relaxing and warm, and when all is said and done, this place honestly is great value for the price as well.

Nina May hosted my graduation dinner for 13 people and it was the most amazing evening! The spacing of our 5-course meal was perfect — both presentation and portion-size were exactly what the group needed. Service was impeccable and Nina May remains my favorite restaurant in DC! Make sure you save room for the carrot cake!
