Great spot to grab a pie to share. The Detroit style pizza was crunchy and airy. The meatballs were yummy with the homemade sauce. We added the mozzarella on top and it was a great addition. We sat on the patio out front and it was busy. There was only one server for the whole patio and you could tell it was hard for him. Took a little while for him to come and take our order, but that’s not his fault. Disappointed that we couldn’t try their version of an arancini or their goat cheese appetizer due to them running out of some food at 1:00 in the afternoon. I would like to come again to try more of their food, and would recommend their Detroit style pie to eat.

i’m still confused at how you can make a gluten-free, thick detroit-style pizza taste that good?!? even our server was like “yeah idk how they make it, but it’s good.” i spent the entirety of the meal just wondering “how is pizza this delicious even possible?”

This is my girl’s favorite place because she has celiacs and can’t eat gluten. So she gets this Detroit style pizza but this time i think you had a rookie making the pizzas because it’s was not their normal work. it was either spongy or burnt. Gluten free pizza making is an art and this is the first time for me you guys messed it up. This was an ugly pizza.

I lost myself when I arrived close to the area. I guess google maps had me park before I went downstairs to the restaurant, anyway.

One of the better spots that I’ve been on the beltline. Hostess was nice and attentive. And our server Aaron was great! Nice atmosphere, good music, pizza was fresh and dough just right; delicious dr inks; good vibes! I’m a satisfied customer!

4th time here and there was only 3 of us but we kinda went overboard as our hunger drove us to order a pizza each plus appetizers! Our server was great and all the food we ordered was delicious!!

I’ll start with the positives…the Detroit style pizza is really good. I had the gluten free margarita. I haven’t had a “fluffy”, deep dish style pizza in over 10 years! My family had the regular deep dish and was just as happy with it. They also loved the cheesy bread. Salads are also fresh! Best caesar dressing ever! The negatives….service was kinda poor. We expected the pizza to take a while as that is noted on the menu. However, it took forever for everything else as well. Our waitress rarely came to our table. We had to ask other servers for water. We tried to order wings as an appetizer but were told they were out. 45 mins later, the table behind us ordered and received them. They were also out of most of the salad toppings. They weren’t very busy so I’m not sure what the issue was. Maybe it was just an off day. I’d give them another chance. The pic is of the gluten free, Detroit style, margarita pizza.

Nina & Rafi is an amazing spot for high quality Italian eats on the Beltline! Our server, Chris gave an outstanding recommendation for our pizza and wings! Amazing atmosphere. 10/10

The service was very good and so was the food! I ventured out and tried a Detroit style pizza, although I personally may not order it again, it had good flavor. They had plenty of other tasty things we ordered like the cheesy bread. Overall, I would come back and recommend them.

This place surpassed my expectations. I’ve seen Nina & Rafi’s on social media and have been dying to try this Detroit style pizza. The restaurant itself is beautiful, low lighting, candlelight, romantic yet still perfect for casual dining too. It’s right on the belt line so perfect for people watching.
